Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, pandemiden (COVID-19) kaynaklı yaşanan zorunlu ve acil olarak geçilmiş uzaktan eğitim sürecinde öğretim programlarının uygulanabilirliğine ilişkin öğretmenlerin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma, betimsel bir araştırmadır. Genel tarama modellerinden tekil tarama modeli kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini, Ankara ilinde üç farklı sosyoekonomik gelişmişlik düzeyinde bulunan Çankaya, Elmadağ ve Bala ilçelerinde, ilkokul, ortaokul ve Anadolu liselerinde görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Tabakalı örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenen örneklemde yer alan öğretmenlerin branşlarının sınıf öğretmenliği, sayısal, sözel, spor-sanat, yabancı dil dağılımında olmasına dikkat edilmiştir. Veriler, anket ile toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı iki bölümden oluşmuştur; birinci bölümde katılımcılara ait demografik bilgiler, ikinci bölümde ise pandemi (COVID-19) sürecinde yürütülen uzaktan eğitimde öğretim programlarının uygulanabilirliğine dair öğretmenlerin görüşlerini belirlemeye yönelik maddeler yer almıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretmenler pandemi (COVID-19) döneminde öğretim faaliyetlerini planlarken öğretim programlarından yararlandıklarını fakat programda yer alan kazanımları uzaktan eğitim sürecine uygun bulmadıklarını ve kazanımların tamamının gerçekleştirilebilir olmadığını düşündükleri için yeniden düzenleme ihtiyacı duyduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Öğretim programlarının içeriğinin uzaktan eğitim sürecine uygunluğu konusundaki görüşler branşlara göre farklılaşmıştır. Öğrencilerin derse katılımının okul türü, branş ve sosyoekonomik düzeye göre farklılaştığı öğretmenlerin görüşleri doğrultusunda belirlenmiştir. Öğrenme güçlüğü çeken ve yetersizliği olan öğrencilerin süreçten en çok olumsuz etkilenen grup olduğu belirtilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin ek materyallere ihtiyaç duyduğu, uygulamalı çalışmaların yeterince yapılamadığı ifade edilmiştir. Bu süreçte öğrenme kayıplarının oluştuğu, yapılan telafi eğitiminin yeterli bulunmadığı, uzaktan eğitim çıktıları ile yüz yüze eğitim çıktılarının eşdeğer bulunmadığı ifade edilmiştir. İleride herhangi bir sebepten ötürü yaşanabilecek acil uzaktan eğitim durumuna karşı öğretim programlarının uyarlanmasına ihtiyaç vardır. Ayrıca öğretmenlere ve öğrencilere (özellikle kısıtlı imkanlara sahip bölgeler ve öğrenme güçlüğü çeken öğrenciler için) teknolojik destek sağlanması ve teknoloji kullanımı konusunda öğretmenlere eğitim verilmesi önerilmektedir. Uzaktan eğitim sürecinde de işe koşulabilecek uygun içerik ve ölçme değerlendirme araçları geliştirilmesi önerilmektedir.

The aim of the study is to determine the opinions of teachers about the implementation of the curricula in the necessarily and urgently passed distance education process due to the pandemic (Covid-19). The study is a descriptive research and singular screening model, one of the major types of surveys, was conducted for this study. The population of the research consists of teachers working in elementary, middle school and Anatolian high schools in Çankaya, Elmadağ and Bala districts, which are at three different socioeconomic development levels in Ankara. While choosing the study group, it was paid attention to the fact that the branches of the teachers included in the sample determined according to the stratified sampling method was conducted to determine the participants of the study in the field of primary school teaching, math, science, language, sports-art and foreign language. Data collection in the study was carried out by questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of two parts; the first part is about demographic information of the participants and the second part includes the items to determine the opinions of teachers on the implementation of curricula in distance education carried out during the pandemic (Covid-19). The data has been analyzed by a descriptive statistics. The findings of the study revealed that teachers were benefited from the curricula while planning their teaching activities however they did not find the all learning objectives in the curriculum feasible for the distance education therefore they needed to reorganize some of the learning objectives. Teachers' opinions on the appropriateness of the content of the curricula for distance education became different according to the teaching fields. It was determined in line with the opinions of the teachers that the participation of the students in the lesson differed according to the school type, branch, and socioeconomic level. It has been stated that students with learning difficulties and disabilities were the most disadvantaged group in distance education. In addition, it has been stated that teachers need additional materials, and applied studies cannot be done sufficiently. It was stated that learning losses occurred in this process, the remedial training was not sufficient, and the learning outcomes of distance education and face-to-face education were not equivalent. It has emerged that there is a need to adapt the curriculum against the urgent transition to distance education that may be experienced in the future for any reason. Moreover, it is recommended to provide technological support to teachers and students (especially for regions with limited resources and students with learning difficulties) and to train teachers on the use of technology. It is recommended to develop appropriate content and measurement tools that can be used in the distance education process. There is a need to adapt the curriculum against the situation of emergency distance education that may be experienced in the future for any reason. In addition, teachers and students should be provided with technological support and training. Especially, the students with learning difficulties and regions with limited resources should be supported. Content and measurement and evaluation tools, appropriate for the distance education process, should be developed.
