Özet
Bu çalışma, intestinal stoması olan hastalarda ameliyat öncesi hazır oluşluğun ameliyat sonrası semptom yönetimine etkisinin sistematik derleme ve meta analiz yöntemi ile incelenmesi amaçladı. EbscoHost, CINAHL, Pubmed, Science Direct, Medline, Web of Science, YÖK Tez Tarama, Ulakbim veri tabanlarından“intestinal stoma”,“management”,“complications”ve bunlarla ilişkili terimler kullanılarak, son tarama tarihi 29 Aralık 2021 olacak şekilde dil sınırı olmadan tarama yapıldı. Tarama sonucu 30 araştırma ile analiz gerçekleşti. Seçilen makaleler, iki bağımsız değerlendirici tarafından incelenmiş olup, dahil edilecek çalışmaların metodolojik kalitesi“Health Evidence™ Quality Assessment Tool”aracı ile değerlendirildi. Verilerin analizinde Comprehensive Meta Analysis 3 programı kullanıldı. Bulguların Heterojenliği I2 istatistiği ile yayın yanlılığı huni grafiği ve etki büyüklüğü ise Cohen'e göre hesaplandı. İntestinal stoma ameliyatı öncesi hazır oluşluk iki ana tema ve ameliyat sonrası görülen komplikasyon/sorunlar dokuz alt temadan oluştu. Bulguların meta analiz sonuçlarını değerlendirdiğimizde, ameliyat öncesi hazır oluşluğun ameliyat sonrası komplikasyon görülmesi üzerinde orta düzeyde etki büyüklüğüne sahip olduğu bulundu (d=0,498, =0,457). Bu doğrultuda ameliyat öncesi yapılan uygulamaların ameliyat sonrası semptom yönetiminde anlamlı ve etkili olduğu sonucuna varıldı.

This study aims to examine the effect of preoperative readiness on postoperative symptom manamken in patients with an intestinal stoma by systematic review and meta-analysis.“Intestinal stoma”,“management”,“complications”and related terms were searched without language limit in EbscoHost, CINAHL, Pubmed, Science Direct, Medline, Web of Science, YÖK Thesis Search, Ulakbim databases, with the last search date of 29 December 2021. As a result of the research, analysis was carried out with 30 studies. Two independent evaluators reviewed selected articles, and the methodological quality of the included studies was evaluated with the“Health Evidence™ Quality Assessment Tool”. The Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3 was used for the analysis of the data. The heterogeneity of the findings was calculated with the I2 statistic. Publication bias, funnel plot, and the effect size were calculated according to Cohen. Preparation for intestinal stoma surgery consisted of two main themes and postoperative complications/problems consisted of nine sub-themes. In the evaluation of the meta-analysis results of the findings, it was found that the preoperative readiness had a moderate effect size on postoperative complications (d=0.498, =0.457). Accordingly, it was concluded that the preoperative practices were significant and effective in postoperative symptom management.
