Özet

Bu araştırmanın genel amacı; Türkçe dersinde etkileşimli tahta ve web 2.0 araçlarından Plickers uygulamasıyla soru çözme yöntemine ilişkin olarak öğrenci görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaca ulaşmak için nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Ankara'da bir ortaokulun 5. Sınıfında öğrenim gören 17 öğrenciyle 8 hafta boyunca etkileşimli tahta üzerinden dersler yürütülmüş ayrıca Plickers uygulamasıyla soru çözümleri yapılmıştır. Daha sonra 17 öğrenciye yarı yapılandırılmış sorulardan oluşan görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğrencilerin etkileşimli tahtaya karşı olumlu bir tutum sergiledikleri, etkileşimli tahtanın Türkçe derslerinde kullanılmasından keyif aldıkları görülmüştür. Ancak kağıt, defter, kitap gibi materyaller kullanarak ders işlemenin daha işlevsel olduğunu düşünenlerin ve etkileşimli tahtada zaman zaman donma, takılma, ekran parlaması gibi olumsuzlukların olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin Plickers uygulaması hakkındaki görüşleri genel olarak olumludur. Öğrencilerin tamamının uygulamayı kolay bulduklarını görülmüştür. Ancak sorulara yanlış cevap veren öğrencilerin tüm sınıfça görülmesi öğrencileri olumsuz etkilemiştir. Öğrenciler Plickers'la soru çözümünü beğenmişlerdir. Türkçe dersinde bu yöntem sayesinde sıkılmadıklarını ifade etmişlerse de öğrencilerin çoğu Plickers'ı bütün derslerde kullanmayı tercih etmemektedir. Türkçe ders kitabı etkinliklerinin etkileşimli tahtadan yapılmasının dersin verimini ve derse katılımı artırdığı, dersi öğrenmeyi kolaylaştırdığı, sınav başarılarını artırdığı görülmüştür. Ancak yapılan etkinliklerin tekrar edilemiyor olması olumsuzluk olarak görülmüştür. Plickers uygulanarak soru çözümünün başarıyı artırdığı, Plickers'ın soru çözümünü kolaylaştırıp eğlenceli hale getirdiği, dikkatlerini artırdığı, soru çözümlerini hızlandırdığı görülmüştür. Ancak bu yöntemin öğrencilerin diğer derslerdeki başarılarına katkı sağlamadığını düşündükleri görülmüştür. Bu sonuçlara göre ekranın parlamasının engellenmesi için sınıflarda perde kullanılması, etkileşimli tahta uygulamaları sırasında tahtada donma ve takılma problemlerinin olmaması için düzenli aralıklarla bakımlarının yapılması, derse karşı ilgi ve motivasyonu daha da artırmak için özellikle derslerin yoğun teorik kısımlarının ardından Plickers'la soru çözümü yapılması, sorulara yanlış cevap veren öğrencilerin tüm sınıfça görülmemesi için öğrenci isimlerinin gizlenmesi, etkileşimli tahtada yapılan etkinliklerin tekrar edilebilmesi için tahtada yapılan etkinliklerin kaydedilip öğrencilerle paylaşılması, diğer derslerde de Plickers kullanılıp sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesi ve buna göre planlama yapılması önerilmiştir.

The general purpose of this research; The aim of this study is to determine the students' views on the question solving method with the interactive whiteboard and Plickers application, one of the web 2.0 tools in Turkish lesson. In order to achieve this aim, the case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. In the 2020-2021 academic year, 17 students studying in the 5th grade of a secondary school in Ankara were taught on the interactive board for 8 weeks, and also question solutions were made with the Plickers application. Then, an interview form consisting of semi-structured questions was applied to 17 students. According to the results of the research, it was seen that the students had a positive attitude towards the interactive whiteboard and they enjoyed using the interactive whiteboard in Turkish lessons. However, it has been observed that those who think that teaching a lesson using materials such as paper, notebooks, and books are more functional, and that there are negative effects such as freezing, stuttering, and screen glare on the interactive board from time to time. Students' opinions about the Plickers application are generally positive. It was observed that all of the students found the application easy. However, the fact that the students who gave wrong answers to the questions were seen by the whole class negatively affected the students. Students liked the question solving with Plickers. Although they have stated that they do not get bored with this method in Turkish lessons, most of the students do not prefer to use Plickers in all lessons. It has been observed that doing Turkish textbook activities on the interactive board increases the efficiency and participation of the lesson, facilitates the learning of the lesson, and increases the success of the exam. However, the fact that the activities could not be repeated was seen as a negative. It has been seen that by applying Plickers, question solving increases success, Plickers makes question solution easier and fun, increases their attention, and accelerates question solutions. However, it was observed that they thought that this method did not contribute to the success of the students in other courses. According to these results, using curtains in the classrooms to prevent the screen from shining, regular maintenance of the board to prevent freezing and stuttering problems during interactive board applications, solving questions with Plickers, especially after the intensive theoretical parts of the courses, in order to increase the interest and motivation towards the course even more. It has been suggested to hide the names of the students so that the students who gave wrong answers are not seen by the whole class, to record and share the activities done on the interactive board with the students so that the activities done on the interactive board can be repeated, and to use Plickers in other lessons to evaluate the results and plan accordingly.
