Özet
2019 yılı sonunda Çin'in Wuhan şehrinde ortaya çıkan Covid-19 virüsü kaynaklı koronavirüs salgını hem ülke hem dünya çapında büyük etkilere sebep olmuştur. Ülkeler salgınla mücadele doğrultusunda çeşitli tedbirler alarak salgının bulaşmasını engellemeyi ve durdurmayı amaçlamışlardır. Bu tedbirlerden bazıları havacılık sektörünü de kapsamaktadır. Covid-19 kapsamında alınan tedbirlerden bazıları da uçuşları belli bir zamana kadar durdurmak olmuştur. Bu durum havacılık sektöründe yer alan firmaları finansal anlamda zor durumda bırakmıştır ve ekonomi de buna bağlı olarak etkilenmiştir. Ancak uçuş yasaklarının atmosferimiz üzerindeki pozitif etkilerinden biri uçaklardan kaynaklanan emisyon miktarının azalmasıdır. Bu çalışma Covid 19'un havacılık sektörüne ekonomik finansal ve çevresel etkilerini içermektedir. Araştırmanın problemi; salgının ekonomik, finansal ve çevresel anlamda oluşturduğu olumsuz etkileri en aza indirmektir. Araştırmanın amacı; COVID-19 salgını ile beraber ortaya çıkan küresel krizin havacılık sektörüne küresel etkisini ekonomi, finansal ve çevresel açıdan incelemek, salgın öncesi ve sonrası yolcu sayıları, sefer sayıları ve mali tablolar üzerine yapılan çalışmaları karşılaştırmak ve sonuçları analiz etmektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemleri arasından yazılı doküman inceleme kullanılmış ve doküman analizinde ikincil dokümanlardan yararlanılmıştır. Bu dokümanlar THY'nin 2019-2020 Faaliyet Raporları, Devlet Hava Meydanları Genel Müdürlüğünün 2020 Havayolu Sektör Raporu, THY sitesindeki bilgiler, UNWTO, IATA, ICAO, EUROCONTROL verileridir.

The coronavirus epidemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, which emerged in the city of Wuhan, China at the end of 2019, has caused great effects both in the country and around the world. Countries have aimed to prevent and stop the spread of the epidemic by taking various measures in line with the fight against the epidemic. Some of these measures also cover the aviation industry. Some of the measures taken within the scope of Covid-19 were to stop flights until a certain time. This situation has left the companies in the aviation sector in a financially difficult situation and the economy has been affected accordingly. However, one of the positive effects of flight bans on our atmosphere is the reduction in the number of emissions from aircraft. This study includes the economic, financial, and environmental effects of Covid 19 on the aviation industry. The problem of the research is to minimize the negative effects of the epidemic in economic, financial, and environmental terms The purpose of the study is to examine the global impact of the global crisis that emerged with the COVID-19 epidemic on the aviation industry from an economic, financial, and environmental point of view, to compare the studies on the number of passengers, the number of flights and financial statements before and after the epidemic, and to analyze the results. The research method in this study is, written document analysis among qualitative research methods was used and secondary documents were used in document analysis. These documents are THY's 2019-2020 Annual Reports, 2020 Airline Sector Report of the General Directorate of State Airports, information on the THY website, UNWTO, IATA, ICAO, and EUROCONTROL data.
