Özet
EBA platformu hem örgün eğitimde hem de uzaktan eğitimde öğrenciler ve öğretmenler tarafından sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. Farklı ders içeriklerini bünyesinde barındırdığı için eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerinin yürütülmesinde önemli bir katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı FATİH projesinin eğitsel içerik sağlama ayağını oluşturan EBA platformunda bulunan 10. sınıf İngilizce dersi EBA TV Yayınları ve Destek Anlatım videolarının çoklu ortam tasarım ilkelerine göre uygunluk düzeyini belirlemektir. Ayrıca 10. sınıf İngilizce dersi EBA TV Yayınları ve Destek Anlatım videoları arasında çoklu ortam tasarım ilkeleri bakımından anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Bu araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden, doküman inceleme modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri kaynağı için seçkisiz olmayan örnekleme türlerinden biri olan amaçlı örnekleme türlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. EBA TV Yayınları ve Destek Anlatımlar bölümlerinde en fazla içerik ve video çeşitliliğine 10. sınıfların sahip olduğu tespit edildiği için araştırmanın ölçütlü örneklemini, EBA'da yer alan 10. sınıf İngilizce dersine ait“EBA TV Yayınları (62 adet) ve Destek Anlatımlar (34 adet)”filtresinde ortaya çıkan 96 adet ders videosu oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanması için Ozan'ın (2013)“Bağlantıcı Mobil Öğrenme Ortamlarında Yönlendirici Destek”başlıklı doktora tezinde oluşturup kullandığı ve kullanma izni alınan“Eğitim Amaçlı Çoklu Ortam Uygulamalarına İlişkin Değerlendirme Tablosu”başlıklı veri toplama aracı kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın güvenirliğini sağlamak amacıyla ikinci bir değerlendiriciyle çalışılmıştır ve değerlendiriciler arası uyum katsayısı 0.685 olarak hesaplanarak puanlayıcılar arasında iyi düzeyde uyum olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler, sayı (N), yüzde (%) ve aritmetik ortalama gibi betimsel istatistikler kullanılarak sunulmuştur. İkinci problem cümlesine yönelik olarak elde edilen verilere normallik testi uygulanmıştır. Veriler normal dağılıma sahip olmadığı için Mann-Whitney U testi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular tablolaştırılarak yorumlanmıştır. İncelenen videoların çoklu ortam tasarım ilkelerinden görsel yakınlık, zamansal yakınlık, bölümleme, işaretleme, tutarlı içerik, bireysel farklılıklar ve bireyselleştirme ilkeleriyle tamamen uyumlu olduğu; çoklu ortam kullanımı ve bilişsel yükten kaçınma ilkeleriyle uyumlu olduğu; biçem ve ön-bilgilendirme ilkeleriyle ise kısmen uyumlu olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca 10. sınıf İngilizce EBA TV Yayınları ve Destek Anlatım videoları arasında çoklu ortam tasarım ilkeleri bakımından anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. EBA platformunda yer alan içeriklerin çoklu ortam tasarım ilkelerine uygun olarak hazırlanması yönünde öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

The EBA platform is frequently used by students and teachers in both formal education and distance education. Since it contains different course contents, it makes an important contribution to the execution of educational activities. The aim of this study is to determine the compliance level of the 10th grade English course EBA TV Broadcasts and Supportive Lecture videos in the EBA platform, which constitutes the educational content provision of the FATIH Project, according to the multimedia design principles. In addition, it is to determine whether there is a significant difference between the 10th grade English course EBA TV Broadcasts and Supportive Lecture videos in terms of multimedia design principles. In this research, the document analysis model, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. For the data source of the research, the criterion sampling method, which is one of the non-random sampling types, was used. Since it was determined that the 10th grades had the most content and video diversity in the EBA TV Broadcasts and Support Lectures sections, the criterion sample of the research was“EBA TV Broadcasts (62 pieces) and Supportive Lectures (34 pieces)”belonging to the 10th grade English course in EBA filter creates 96 lesson videos. In order to collect the data, the data collection tool titled“Evaluation Chart for Educational Multimedia Applications”, which was created and used by Ozan (2013) in his doctoral thesis titled“Scaffolding in Connectivist Mobile Learning Environment”, was used. In order to ensure the reliability of the study, a second evaluator was employed and the coefficient of agreement between raters was calculated as 0.685, and it was observed that there was a good level of agreement between the raters. The data obtained from the research were presented using descriptive statistics such as number (N), percentage (%) and arithmetic mean. Normality tests were applied to the data obtained for the second problem statement. Since the data did not have a normal distribution, the Mann-Whitney U test was used. Obtained findings were interpreted by using tables. It was concluded that the videos examined were fully compatible with the multimedia design principles of spatial contiguity, temporal contiguity proximity, segmenting, signaling, coherence, individual differences and personalization; it was compatible with multimedia and redundancy, and; it was partially compatible with modality and pre-training. In addition, it was observed that there was no significant difference between the 10th grade English EBA TV Broadcasts and Supportive Lecture videos in terms of the multimedia design principles. Suggestions have been developed to prepare the contents of the EBA platform in accordance with the multimedia design principles.
