Özet
İletişim açısından dil, en yalın bir anlatımla kodlama ve kod çözme olarak tanımlanır. Sözcük adı verilen göstergelerle kodlanan bildiri şifrelenerek alıcıya iletilir. Alıcı ise bu kodları, yine dili kullanarak çözer. Bu kodlama / kod çözme sürecinin sonunda, kodlayıcının iletmek istediği ile alıcının çözdüğü kod arasında yüzde yüz bir uyum sağlanmayabilir. Dil incelemelerinde ve edebi metin çözümlemelerinde de farklılığın temel kaynağını bu süreç oluşturur. Bu, dilin doğasının bir gereğidir. Çalışma, bu nazariyeyle 8. yüzyıldaki Tonyukuk Yazıtları'ndaki metnin 20 ve 21. yüzyıllardaki araştırmacılar tarafından okunuş ve algılanış biçimleri arasındaki farklılıkları ele almaktadır. Tonyukuk Yazıtları'nı inceleyen araştırmacılar, özgün metnin çevrimini ve günümüz Türkçesine aktarımını yaparken dilin yoruma açık, birden fazla seçenek sunan anlam derinliğine sahip olması dolayısıyla birbirinden farklı sonuçlara ulaşmıştır. Bu farklı sonuçları tespit etmek ve 13 yüzyıl önce yazılan sabit bir metnin yıllar içinde çok çeşitli şekillerde algılanışını göstermek ve gelecek tarihlerde de farklı sonuçların ortaya çıkabileceği ihtimalini dikkatlere sunmaktadır. Çalışmada, Tonyukuk metnini ele alan 7 araştırmacının yazı çevrimi ile Türkiye Türkçesine aktarımı (bir nevi anlamlandırılması) incelenirken farklar tespit edilmiş ve bu farklar gösterilerek incelemeye tâbi tutulmuştur.

In terms of communication, language is defined as encoding and decoding in the simplest terms. The message encoded with indicators called words is encrypted and transmitted to the receiver. The receiver, on the other hand, decodes these codes using the language. At the end of this encoding / decoding process, one hundred percent agreement may not be achieved between the code that the encoder wants to transmit and the code that the receiver decodes. This process constitutes the main source of difference in language studies and literary text analysis. This is a requirement of the nature of language. With this approach, the study deals with the differences between the ways in which the text in the 8th century Tonyukuk Inscriptions was read and perceived by researchers in the 20th and 21st centuries. Researchers examining the Tonyukuk Inscriptions have reached different results due to the fact that the language has a depth of meaning that is open to interpretation and offers more than one option, while translating the original text and transferring it to today's Turkish. Identifying these different results and showing the perception of a fixed text written 13 centuries ago in many different ways over the years brings to attention the possibility that different results may emerge in the future. In the study, while examining the transcription of the text of Tonyukuk and its transfer to Turkey Turkish (a kind of meaning) of 7 researchers, the differences were determined and these differences were examined by showing them.
