Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, eğitimlerini Edirne'de sürdüren mülteci çocukların sosyal ve akademik uyum durumlarının ortaya konmasıdır. Bu amaçla, okul yöneticisi ve öğretmenlerin gözünden mülteci çocukların eğitiminde sosyal ve akademik uyumlarının mevcut durumu belirlenip, çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Nitel araştırma yaklaşımına dayalı olarak desenlenen bu araştırmada durum çalışması modeli benimsenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında Edirne ili Merkez ilçesinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı bulunan Üç devlet okulunda görev yapan, beş okul yöneticisi ve 19 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya üç ortaokul müdürü, iki ortaokul müdür yardımcısı, 19 branş öğretmeni katılım sağlamıştır. Araştırmada mülteci öğrencilerin sosyal ve akademik uyumları, ''Genel Anlamda Göçün Değerlendirilmesi'',“Mülteci öğrencilerin okulda karşılaştıkları sosyal uyum sorunları”,“Mülteci öğrencilerin okulda karşılaştıkları akademik uyum sorunları”ve“Mülteci öğrencilerin okula uyumunda karşılaşılan sosyal ve akademik uyum sorunlarına yönelik çözüm önerileri”olmak üzere dört temada değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Görüşme yapılan okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenler; mülteci öğrencilerin sosyal ve akademik uyumları konusunda en önemli etkenin 'dil sorunu' olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca, mülteciler ve yerliler arasındaki kültürel farklılıklar, mülteci öğrencilerin savaşta yaşadığı olumsuzluklar, cinsiyet algılarıyla ilgili yaşadıkları sorunlar, ekonomik ve psiko- sosyal sıkıntıların mülteci çocukların uyum sorunları üzerinde etkili olduğu ifade edilmiştir. Görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgular ışığında, araştırmada elde edilen öneriler; mülteci öğrencilere oryantasyon eğitimleri verilmesi, mülteci öğrencilerin velilerine yönelik kaynaştırma etkinlikleri yapılması, velilere ve öğrencilere yönelik dil kurslarının belirlenen zamanlarda verilmesi, ailelerin çocukların sosyal ve akademik uyumları için bilinçlendirilmesi, kültür tanıtımlarının yapılması, öğretmen- öğrenci- veli ilişkisinin güçlü olmasının sürekliliğinin sağlanması, yerli ve mülteciler arasında ayrım yapılmaması ve mültecilere empati kurularak yaklaşılması, mülteci öğrencilere yönelik aktif halde bulunan destek eğitim odalarının olması gerekliliği şeklinde belirlenmiştir.

The purpose of this research, The aim is to determine the current situation of social and academic adaptation in the education of refugee children in Edirne and to presenting solutions. For this purpose, the current situation of social and academic adaptation of refugee children in the education of was determined from the eyes of school administrators and teachers, and solution suggestions were presented. The case study model, which is a qualitative research method, was adopted in the research. The study group of the research consists of 24 school administrators and teachers working in three official schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the Central district of Edirne province in the 2020-2021 academic year. three secondary school principals, two secondary school vice principals and 19 branch teachers participated in the research. In the research, social and academic adjustment of refugee students is the theme of“Assessment of Migration in General Terms”, the theme of“Social adjustment problems that refugee students face at school”, the theme of“academic adjustment problems that refugee students face at school”and“Solutions to social and academic adjustment problems encountered in adjustment of refugee students to school”. suggestions" were evaluated in 4 main themes. The data obtained in the research were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. School administrators and teachers interviewed; They stated that the most important factor in the social and academic adaptation of refugee students is the 'language problem'. In addition, it was stated that the cultural differences between refugees and locals, the negativities experienced by refugee students during the war, the problems they experienced regarding gender perceptions, and economic and psycho-social problems were effective on the adaptation problems of refugee children. Solution suggestions obtained in line with the findings obtained from the interviews; Orientation training for refugee students, inclusive activities for the parents of refugee students, language courses for parents and students at specified times, raising awareness of families for the social and academic adaptation of children, cultural promotions, ensuring the continuity of a strong teacher-student-parent relationship, It has been determined that there is no discrimination between refugees and that refugees should be approached with empathy, and that there should be active support education rooms for refugee students.
