Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışma, Türkiye' de çalışan araştırmacı ve uygulamacılara kullanım kolaylığı sağlaması amacıyla, gençler tarafından algılanan öğretmen istismar davranışını ölçen Algılanan Öğretmen Davranışı Ölçeği (AÖDÖ)' nin norm çalışması sürecine katkıda bulunmayı amaçlamıştır. AÖDÖ 'nin güvenilirlik çalışmasını tekrarlamak çalışmanın ek amacıdır. Çakar (1994) tarafından tasarlanan ölçek 60 adet Likert tipi maddeden oluşmaktadır. Üç adet yüksek, iki orta ve iki alt sosyoekonomik seviyeyi temsil eden toplam 7 okuldan 450 tane lise I öğrencisi örneklemi oluşturmaktadır. AÖDÖ' nin iç tutarlılığını ve bir aylık aralıkla test-tekrar test güvenilirliğini tespit etmek amacıyla madde-toplam korelasyonları ve Cronbach Alpha değeri hesaplanmıştır. Sonuçlar, AÖDÖ' nin iç tutarlılığı olan güvenilir bir ölçek olduğunu ortaya çıkarmıştır. Belirlenen her grup için, ortalama, standart sapma ve yüzdelik sıra puanları hesaplanarak AÖDÖ için yaş, cinsiyet, okul sosyoekonomik statüsü, sömestr not ortalaması ve ailenin eğitim durumuna göre normlar saptanmıştır. Yaş, (F= 6.7391; p<.0002), cinsiyet, (t_(448)=2.35, £<.05), okul sosyoekonomik statüsü (F= 5.2736; g<.005) ve sömestr not ortalaması (F_= 8.9245; p<.0001) değişkenlerinde psikolojik öğretmen istismarının algılanmasıyla ilgili farklıllıklar bulunmuştur. Bu farklılıklar, önleyici ve tedavi edici programların geliştirilmesinde yardımcı olacaktır. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma kısmi normları saptanmış olan AÖDÖ' nin gençler tarafından algılanan öğretmen istismarını ölçmede umut vaad eden bir ölçek olduğuna dair kanıt sağlamıştır.

IV The Partial Norm Study of the Perceived Teacher Behavior Inventory by Zeynep Bars ABSTRACT This study aimed to contribute in a preliminary way to the vast norm study process of the Perceived Teacher Behavior Inventory (PTBI) measuring teacher abusive behavior perceived by adolescents, so that its use can be more helpful to researchers and practitioners in Turkey. Determining further reliability of the PTBI was the additional purpose of the present study. The instrument designed by Çakar (1994) includes 60 likert-type items. The sample was composed of 450 ninth grade students from seven different high schools in Istanbul; three representing high SES, two representing middle SES and two representing low SES. Item-total correlation coefficients and Cronbach Alpha value were computed to determine the internal consistency of the PTBI and test-retest reliability of the instrument for one month interval. Results indicated that the PTBI is an internally consistent and reliable instrument. The partial norms of the PTBI on age, specifically 14-17, gender, school SES, SPA and parental education were established by using descriptive statistics such as, mean, variance, percentile rank scores for each identified group. Differences in perception of teacher psychological abuse was found in relation to gender (t (448)=2.35, p<.05), age (F= 6.7391; p_<0002), school SES (F= 5.2736; p<.005) and SPA levels (F= 8.9245; p_<.0001), which are highly suggestive in terms of predictive as well as remedial intervention programs. Overall, this study provided evidence that the PTBI is a promising instrument in the assessment of perceived teacher abuse by adolescents with its partially established norms. iv
