Özet
Günümüzde teknolojide yaşanan hızlı değişimin yansımaları eğitim öğretim alanında da hissedilmektedir. Bu bağlamda yaşanan gelişmelerden hareketle yapılandırmacı yaklaşım çerçevesinde güncellenen öğretim programları dâhilinde her bireyin ilgi alanına bağlı olarak materyal kullanılmasına özen gösterilmektedir. Öğrenciyi merkeze alan bu sistemde eğitici çizgi romanlar da materyaller içinde yer edinen ve her geçen gün daha geniş bir kitle için kullanılan materyale dönüşmüştür. Çizgi romanların öğrencilerin derse karşı ilgilerini artırma, kavram yanılgılarını ortadan kaldırma, soyut bilgiyi somutlaştırma gibi niteliklerinden dolayı öğretim kapsamında kullanılmasının dersin verimini arttıracağı düşünülmektedir. Bu amaçla çalışma kapsamında 7.sınıf özelinde birey ve toplum öğrenme alanında çizgi romanların kullanımına ilişkin öğrenci görüşleri toplanarak bu doğrultuda tespitlerde bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde Hatay ili Antakya ilçesinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı 7. Sınıf seviyesinde 20 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada öncelikli olarak konuya ilişkin literatürden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın kuramsal çerçevesinde eğitim, öğretim, sosyal bilgiler, materyal ve çizgi roman başlıklarının tanımı ve özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat formu veri toplamak amacıyla kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın yöntem bölümünde araştırmanın yöntemine ilişkin bilgiler yer alırken, bulgular bölümünde ise yapılan saha çalışması neticesinde elde edilen verilerin analizlerine ve yorumlarına yer verilerek çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, birey ve toplum öğrenme alanının öğretiminde kullanılan eğitici çizgi romanların, öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler dersine karşı olan tutumlarını pozitif yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Elde edilen bulgulardan yola çıkılarak bir takım önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Today, the reflections of the rapid change in technology are also felt in the field of education. In this context, within the curriculum updated within the framework of the constructivist approach based on the developments experienced, care is taken to use materials depending on the interests of each individual. In this system, which puts the student in the center, educational comics have also turned into materials that take place in the materials and are used for a wider audience day by day. It is thought that the use of comics within the scope of teaching will increase the efficiency of the lesson due to the qualities such as increasing students' interest in the lesson, eliminating misconceptions, concretizing soft information. For this purpose, within the scope of the study, it was aimed to collect student opinions on the use of comics in the field of individual and community learning in the 7th grade and to make determinations in this direction. The study group of the research consists of 20 7th grade students affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the Antakya district of Hatay province in the second term of the 2021-2022 academic year. In the research, primarily the literature on the subject was used. In the theoretical framework of the study, the definition and features of education, training, social studies, material and comic book titles are included. In the research, a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher was used to collect data. In the method section of the study, information about the research method is included, while in the findings section, the analysis and interpretations of the data obtained as a result of the field work are included in the study. As a result of the study, it was seen that the educational comics used in the teaching of the individual and community learning area positively affected the attitudes of the students towards the social studies course. Based on the findings, a number of recommendations were made.
