Özet
Günümüze kadar lider ve liderlikle ilgili sosyal bilimler alanında birçok çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmalar incelendiğinde lider ve liderliğin özellikleri, liderin tavır ve tutumları, lider ve liderliği oluşturan koşullar ve durumsal niteliklerin ifade edildiği son derece açıktır. Bununla birlikte, dönüşümcü lider organizasyonda meydana gelen bir yanlışlığı hızlıca gören ve bunun önüne geçmeye gayret eden bir kişidir. Dönüşümcü liderlikte hedef, idareyle ilgili her kararda dönüşümcü liderlikle ilgili olan kapsamların sınırlarını çizmek, açığa çıkarmak ve organizasyonlarda seçim yapma aşamasını koordine eden dönüşümcü prensipler meydana getirmektir. Söz konusu bu prensipler işletmelerde kritik rol oynayan kararlar bütününü ifade etmektedir ve işletmenin sürdürülebilirliği açısından son derece önemlidir. Dönüşümcü liderler, işletmelerde finansal ve operasyonel performans ile ilgili kararlarla doğrudan bir ilişki halindedirler. Bu noktada işletmelerin faaliyet göstermesi ve verimli olabilmesi finansal ve operasyonel performans faaliyetlerinin etkinliğine bağlıdır. Finansal ve operasyonel performans ne kadar etkin ve yerinde gerçekleştiriliyorsa bir işletme o kadar başarı gösterebilme potansiyeline ve imkanına sahip olur. Ele alınan çalışmada günümüzde etkili bir liderlik tarzı olan dönüşümcü liderliğin işletmelerdeki finansal ve operasyonel (finansal olmayan) performansa olan etkisi üzerinde bir inceleme yapılmıştır. Söz konusu bu araştırma kapsamında seçilen işletmeler içerisinden veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket kullanılarak gerekli veriler elde edilmiştir. Daha sonra bu bulgular Bağımsız Örneklem T-Testi, Regresyon, Anova ve Korelasyon Analizlerinden faydalanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamındaki ulaşılan bu çıktılar ve bulgular detaylı bir şekilde analiz edilerek yorumlamalar yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak dönüşümcü liderlerin verdikleri kararlarla işletmelerde finansal ve operasyonel performansı doğrudan etkileme potansiyeline sahip olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

To date, many studies have been carried out in the field of social sciences regarding leaders and leadership. When these studies are examined, it is clear that the characteristics of the leader and leadership, the attitudes and attitudes of the leader, the conditions and situational qualities that constitute the leader and leadership are expressed. However, a transformational leader is a person who quickly sees a mistake occurring in the organization and tries to prevent it. The goal of transformational leadership is to draw and reveal the boundaries of the scope of transformational leadership in every management decision and to create transformational principles that coordinate the selection process in organizations. These principles represent a set of decisions that play a critical role in businesses and are extremely important for the sustainability of the business. Transformational leaders are directly involved in decisions regarding financial and operational performance in businesses. At this point, the ability of businesses to operate and be productive depends on the effectiveness of their financial and operational performance activities. The more effectively and appropriately financial and operational performance is achieved, the more potential and opportunity a business has to be successful. In the study, an examination was made on the effect of transformational leadership, which is an effective leadership style today, on financial and operational (non-financial) performance in businesses. Within the scope of this research, the necessary data was obtained by using a survey as a data collection method among the selected businesses. These findings were then analyzed using Independent Sample T-Test, Regression, Anova and Correlation Analyzes. These outputs and findings within the scope of the study were analyzed in detail and interpretations were made. As a result, it has been concluded that transformational leaders have the potential to directly affect the financial and operational performance of businesses with the decisions they make.
