Özet
Bu araştırma ile; engelli sporcuların fiziksel kısıtlılıklarının neden olduğu giysi problemlerini belirlemek, belirlenen bu problemleri kullanıcı odaklı tasarım yaklaşımı ile çözümlemek, engelli sporcuların giyinme ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda fonksiyonel, sembolik, estetik açıdan çözümlenmiş giysi tasarımları geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada karma araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın birinci ve ikinci aşamalarında betimsel yöntem, üçüncü aşamasında ise uygulamalı araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Amaç doğrultusunda araştırma, Türkiye Bedensel Engelliler Spor Federasyonuna bağlı spor branşlarındaki milli takım sporcuları ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verileri, 18 farklı spor branşında faaliyet gösteren 84 bedensel engelli milli sporcudan toplanmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında nicel veri topalama araçlarında kullanılan Kullanıcı İhtiyaçları Modelinden (FEA) yararlanılarak geliştirilen ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Ölçme aracı üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm; bedensel engelli sporculara ilişkin genel bilgilerden ve sporcuların fiziksel kısıtlılıklarını tanımaya yönelik sorulardan oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölüm ise, bedensel engelli sporcuların giysi beklenti, giyinme alışkanlıkları ve giysi ihtiyaçlarına ilişkin sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Üçüncü bölüm ise, engelli sporcuların fiziksel kısıtlılıklarının neden olduğu giysi problemlerini belirlemek, spor giysilerinin fonksiyonel, sembolik, estetik açıdan problemlerini değerlendirmek amacıyla geliştirilen likert ölçme sorularından oluşmaktadır. Bedensel engelli sporcuların fiziksel kısıtlılıklarının neden olduğu spor giysi problemlerinin belirlenmesinde, spor giysi olarak, Milli Takım eşofman takımına ilişkin değerlendirmeler esas alınmıştır. Milli takım eşofman takımının eşofman altı, tişört, sweatshirt için ayrı ayrı değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Veri setinin güvenilirliği ve iç tutarlılığı Cronbach Alpha ile doğrulanmıştır. Araştırma verileri; aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma testleri ile ve cinsiyet değişkenine bağlı olarak çapraz tablolar ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen analizlere göre, Milli Takım formasında eşofman altı, tişört, sweatshirtde sembolik ve estetik anlamda giysi problemi tespit edilmemiştir. Ancak Milli Takım formasında fonksiyonel özelliklerde, özellikle de uyum konusunda problemler tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, tespit edilen problemlere çözüm önerileri geliştirilmiş, bu çözüm önerilerine uygun olarak beş farklı eşofman takımı tasarımı önerilmiştir. Aynı zamanda araştırma sonucunda, fiziksel engelli bireyler için giysi tasarımlarının geliştirilmesinde izlenebilecek giysi tasarım parametre tablosu geliştirilmiştir.

With this research, it is aimed to determine the clothing problems caused by the physical limitations of disabled athletes, to analyze these problems with a user-oriented design approach, and to develop functionally, symbolically and aesthetically resolved clothing designs in line with the dressing needs of disabled athletes. A mixed research model was used in the research. Descriptive method was adopted in the first and second stages of the research, and applied research method was adopted in the third stage. For this purpose, the research was conducted with national team athletes in sports branches affiliated to the Turkish Physically Disabled Sports Federation. Research data was collected from 84 physically disabled national athletes operating in 18 different sports branches. A measurement tool developed using the User Needs Model (FEA), which is used in quantitative data collection tools, was used to collect research data. A measurement tool developed based on the user-centered design approach and using the User The measurement tool consisted of three parts. The first part consists of general information about physically disabled athletes and questions to recognize the physical limitations of athletes. The second part consisted of questions about clothing expectations, dressing habits and clothing needs of physically disabled athletes. The third part consisted of Likert measurement questions developed to determine the clothing problems caused by the physical limitations of disabled athletes and to evaluate the functional, symbolic and aesthetic problems of sports clothing. In determining the sports clothing problems caused by the physical limitations of physically disabled athletes, evaluations regarding the National Team tracksuit as sports clothing were taken as basis. Separate evaluations were made for the tracksuit bottoms, t-shirts and sweatshirts of the national team tracksuit. Reliability and internal consistency of the data set were confirmed by Cronbach Alpha. Research data were analyzed with arithmetic mean and standard deviation tests and with cross-tabulations depending on the gender variable. According to the analysis obtained, no symbolic or aesthetic clothing problems were detected in the tracksuit bottoms, t-shirts and sweatshirts of the National Team uniform. However, problems have been detected in the functional features of the National Team uniform, especially in terms of compatibility. As a result of the research, solution suggestions were developed for the identified problems, and five different tracksuit designs were proposed in accordance with these solution suggestions. At the same time, as a result of the research, a table of clothing design parameters that can be followed in the development of clothing designs for physically disabled individuals was developed.
