Özet
Ödev öğrencide sorumluluk duygusunu geliştiren, konunun tekrar edilmesi ve pekiştirilmesi amacıyla öğretmen tarafından öğrencilere verilen ders dışı etkinliklerdir. Ödevler eğitim programının ayrılmaz bir parçasıdır. Ödevler aile iletişim ve etkileşim sürecini olumlu yönde etkileyen, okul ile aile arasında köprü görevini üstlendiği bir öğretim aracıdır. Bu çalışmada fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin eğitimde ödevin kullanılmasına yönelik görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Türkiye genelinde MEB'e bağlı ortaokullarda görev yapan 38400 fen bilimleri öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmamızda örneklem büyüklüğümüz 380 olarak belirlenmiştir.Fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin eğitimde ödevlerin kullanılmasına yönelik görüşlerinin incelenmesi ve betimlenmesi amacıyla yürütülen bu çalışmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanma sürecinde anket tekniği kullanılarak, fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin ödeve yönelik görüşleri tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin görüşleri betimsel istatistik ve betimsel analiz yoluyla analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, fen öğretmenlerinin genel olarak ödev konusunda olumlu düşüncelere sahip oldukları görülmüştür. Uygulanan ankette fen öğretmenleri; araştırma ödevlerinin öğrencide merak uyandırması, yaratıcı düşünme becerisi ve sorumluluk kazandırması adına önemli bir ödev türü olduğunu dile getirmiştir. Aynı zamanda öğretmenler, fen dersinde verilen ödevlerin öğrencide dil, duyuşsal, sosyal, bilgi toplama ve problem çözme becerilerinin gelişmesine de katkı sağladığını düşünmektedir. Bunun yanında fen bilgisi öğretmenlerinin araştırma ödevlerinin daha etkili olduğunu düşünmekle birlikte derste test teknikli ödevleri daha sık tercih ettikleri görülmüştür.

Homework is an extracurricular activity given to students by the teacher for the purpose of repeating and reinforcing the subject, which develops the student's sense of responsibility. Assignments are an integral part of the educational program. Homework is a teaching tool that positively affects the family communication and interaction process and acts as a bridge between the school and the family. This study aimed to examine the views of science teachers on the use of homework in education. The population of the research consists of 38,400 science teachers working in secondary schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education throughout Turkey. In our research, our sample size was determined as 380. The scanning method was used in this study, which was conducted to examine and describe the opinions of science teachers about the use of homework in education. By using the survey technique during the data collection process, science teachers' opinions about the homework were determined. The opinions of the teachers who participated in the research were analyzed through descriptive statistics and descriptive analysis. As a result of these analyses, it was seen that science teachers generally had positive thoughts about homework. In the applied survey, science teachers; He stated that research assignments are an important type of assignments in terms of arousing curiosity in students, gaining creative thinking skills and responsibility. At the same time, teachers consider the contribution of what is taught in science branches to the records of students' language, affective, social, information gathering and problem solving skills. In addition, it has been determined that although science teachers think that research assignments are more effective, they prefer assignments with test techniques more frequently in class.
