Özet

Bu araştırma, 2000-2022 yılları arasında yayımlanan çocuk edebiyatı kitaplarında yansıtılan okul-öğretmen algısını incelemek ve bu algının şekillendirmesiyle ortaya çıkan dil üzerine eleştirel söylem analizi ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, eğitimin temel dinamikleri durumundaki okul, öğretmen ve öğrenci unsurlarının çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinde ne şekilde ele alındığı ve değişen zaman içerisinde nasıl bir noktaya geldiği tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla araştırmada, nitel araştırma yönetimi kullanılmış, yöntemin uygulanması aşamasında söz konusu çocuk kitapları, doküman analizi ve eleştirel söylem analiziyle mercek altına alınmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2000 sonrası yayımlanan çocuk kitapları evreninden“okul”u mekân tutan on beş kitap oluşturmuş; çalışma, maceranın okulda geçtiği veya durumun okul sınırlarında cereyân ettiği bu kitaplar üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. İncelenen kitaplarda, değişen çocuk gerçeğiyle birlikte okul ve öğretmen kavramlarına bakışın da değiştiği tespit edilmiştir. Eserlerde, eğitim sistemi içindeki bir takım uygulamaların ve eğitimin başlıca unsurları olan öğrenci ve öğretmen kavramlarının eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla ele alınıp sorgulandığı görülmüştür. Bu sorgulamaların çocuk kahramanlar aracılığıyla dikkatlere sunulduğu tespit edilmiştir. Geçmişten günümüze varlık sebebi ve işleyişi konusunda pek çok tartışmanın öne sürüldüğü okul kavramının çocuğun hayatında önemli bir yere sahip olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Eserlerde yenilikçi yaklaşıma sahip ve empatik davranan öğretmenlerin okula karşı olumlu bir algı oluşmasında etkili olduğu yargısına varılmıştır. Tam tersi durumda ise okul ve öğretmen kavramlarının, öğrencinin mücadele ettiği ya da olumsuz yönde etkilendiği unsurlar olarak yansıtıldığı fark edilmiştir. Kitaplar aracılığıyla, öğretmen kavramının merkezde olduğu bir anlayıştan öğrenci merkezli bir anlayışa yönelim sağlandığı görülmüş, öğretmenin bir rehber olarak konumlandırıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenin eğitim- öğretim süreçleri içindeki ağırlığı değişse de nitelikli bir eğitimin belirleyicisi olmaya devam ettiği anlaşılmıştır. Okul ve öğretmen algısını yansıtan pek çok işaretin, eserlerin ve kahramanların adlarına ya da kitapların çizimlerine etkili bir biçimde yansıdığı görülmüştür.

This research was conducted to examine the perception of school-teacher reflected in children's literature books published between 2000 and 2022 and to present a critical discourse analysis on the language shaped by this perception. In the research, it was tried to determine how the elements of school, teacher and student, which are the basic dynamics of education, are handled in children's literature works and how they have come to a point in changing times. For this purpose, the qualitative research method was used in the research, and the children's books in question were scrutinised through document analysis and critical discourse analysis during the implementation of the method. The sample of the study consisted of fifteen books from the universe of children's books published after 2000 and the study was carried out on these books in which the adventure takes place at school or the situation takes place within the school boundaries. In the books analysed, it has been determined that the view of school and teacher concepts has also changed with the changing reality of children. In the works, it was observed that some practices within the education system and the concepts of students and teachers, which are the main elements of education, were handled and questioned from a critical point of view. It was determined that these questions were presented to attention through child heroes. It has been understood that the concept of school, which has been the subject of many discussions from past to present, has an important place in children's lives. In the works, it was concluded that teachers with an innovative approach and empathic behaviour were effective in creating a positive perception towards school. On the contrary, it has been noticed that the concepts of school and teacher are reflected as elements that students struggle with or are negatively affected by. Through the books, it has been seen that there is a shift from an understanding in which the concept of a teacher is at the centre to a student-centred understanding, and it has been determined that the teacher is positioned as a guide. Although the weight of the teacher in education and training processes has changed, it has been understood that the teacher continues to be the determinant of a qualified education. It has been observed that many signs reflecting the perception of school and teachers are effectively reflected in the names of the works and heroes or the drawings of the books.
