Özet

Ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki şiir metinlerinde yer alan imgeleri tespit etmeyi amaçlayan bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın veri setini Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu tarafından 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında okutulması önerilen ortaokul (5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf) Türkçe ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada ulaşılan şiirlerin analizi için içerik analizine başvurulmuştur. Bu kitaplarda yer alan 58 şiir metni içerdikleri imge bakımından incelenmiş, toplam 310 imge tespit edilmiştir. En çok imge 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında (f=119) tespit edilirken bunu sırasıyla 7. sınıf ders kitapları (f=87), 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitapları (f=55), ve 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabı (f=49) izlemiştir. Ortaokul Türkçe Ders Kitabı'ndaki şiirlerde imge yapma yollarından en fazla kişileştirme (f=119), en az tezat (f=1) edebî sanatı kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. İmge yapmak amacıyla başvurulan edebî sanatlardan benzetme (f=76), istiare (f=26), alışılmamış bağdaştırma (f=17), aktarma (f=19), abartma (f=26), mecaz (f=15), intak (f=2), hüsn-i talil (f=3), kinaye (f=6) şeklinde kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada imgelerin en fazla kullanıldığı tema Millî Mücadele ve Atatürk (f=54), en az imgenin olduğu tema ise Çocuk Dünyası (f=7) olarak belirlenmiştir. Diğer temalarda kullanılan imge sayısı ise sırasıyla Birey ve Toplum (f=23), Erdemler (f=37), Millî Kültürümüz (f=17), Doğa ve Evren (f=41), Sağlık ve Spor (f=12), Bilim ve Teknoloji (f=14), Sanat (f=32), Duygular (f=11), Hak ve Özgürlükler (f=8), Okuma Kültürü (f=13), Vatandaşlık (f=9), Zaman ve Mekân (f=32) şeklindedir.

In this study which aims to identify the images in the poetry texts in Secondary School Turkish Textbooks, document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The dataset of this study consists of Secondary School Turkish Textbooks (5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade) recommended by the Board of Education to be taught in the 2023-2024 academic year. In the study, content analysis was used to analyze poetry texts. The 58 poetry texts in these books were analyzed in terms of the imageries they contain, and a total of 310 imageries were identified. The most imageries were found in 8th-grade Turkish textbooks (f=119), followed by 7th-grade textbooks (f=87), 6th-grade Turkish textbooks (f=55), and 5th-grade Turkish textbooks (f=49). Among the ways of making imageries in the poetries in the Secondary School Turkish Textbooks, personification (f=119) was used the most, and contrast (f=1) was used the least. Among the literary arts used to make imageries, simile (f=76), figure (f=26), allegory (f=26), unconventional association (f=17), transfer (f=19), exaggeration (f=26), metaphor (f=15), making living or non-living beings talk (f=2), finding good reasons (f=3), and allusion (f=6) were used. In the study, the theme with the highest number of imageries was determined as National Struggle and Atatürk (f=54), and the theme with the lowest number of imageries was determined as Children's World (f=7). The number of imageries used in other themes is Individual and Society (f=23), Virtues (f=37), National Culture (f=17), Nature and Universe (f=41), Health and Sports (f=12), Science and Technology (f=14), Art (f=32), Emotions (f=11), Rights and Freedoms (f=8), Reading Culture (f=13), Citizenship (f=9), and Time and Space (f=32).
