Özet
ÖZET Tarih dersi öğrencilere vatandaşlık bilincinin verildiği en etkili derslerden biridir. Ancak, tarih derslerinde izlenen müfredat programlan dönemin politik anlayışına göre sık sık değiştirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, müfredatlarda belirtilen“Amaçlar”temelinde hazırlandığı kabul edilen ders kitaplarıyla bu programlar arasındaki tutarlılık araştırılmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonunda, tarih ders kitaplarının hazırlanmasında“milliyetçi”eğilimleri yansıtan amaçlar gerçekleştirilirken,“evrensellik”boyutundaki amaçların bu kitaplarda sunumunun oldukça eksik kaldığı ortaya konmuştur.

ABSTRACT History course is one of the most effective lessons in which the consciousness of being a citizen is conveyed to the students. However, curriculums followed in history courses have been changed frequently with respect to the popular political understanding of the period. In this study the consistency between curriculums and the text books, which are assumed to be prepared on the basis of“Objectives”expressed in these curriculums, is investigated. In the conclusion part of this study, it is proved that the objectives that have a“Nationalist”tendency have always been realized in the make-up of the history text books to a great extent while the objectives which show a“Universalistic”approach have poorly represented in such course books.
