Özet
Bu araştırma, GeoGebra destekli açılar konusunun 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin akademik başarısı ve öğrencilerin matematiğe karşı tutumları üzerindeki etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın katılımcılarını 2023-2024 öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Sultanbeyli ilçesinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı bir ortaokulda iki farklı şubede öğrenim gören 6. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubunda 28, kontrol grubunda 27 olmak üzere toplam 55 öğrenci ile çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Deney grubunda açılar konusunun öğretimi GeoGebra destekli yapılırken kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel matematik öğretimi ile açılar konusunun öğretimi yapılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Başarı Testi ve Matematik Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Başarı Testi araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmıştır. Verilerin analizi için SPSS24.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi için bağımlı örneklem t-testi ve bağımsız örneklem t-testi kullanılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalarda anlamlılık düzeyi .05 olarak alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak, deney grubunun kontrol grubuna göre başarıda anlamlı bir fark gösterdiği görülmüştür. Matematik tutumunda deney grubu ile kontrol grubu anlamlı bir fark göstermezken deney grubunun ön tutum puanları ile son tutum puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark görülmüştür.

This research aims to investigate the effect of teaching the subject of angles supported by GeoGebra on the academic achievement of 6th-grade students and their attitudes towards the mathematics of students. The study was performed in the 2023-2024 academic year and has been applied in 2 classes of 6th-grade level students in the secondary school affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul. The experimental group consists of 28 and the control group consists of 27 students in total, the study was conducted of 55 students. The quasi-experimental method with the control group of the pre-test and post-test has been used from the quantitative data collection method in the study. While angle teaching with GeoGebra was supported in the experimental group, it was taught with traditional mathematics teaching in the control group. The Achievement Test, prepared by the researcher, and the Mathematics Attitude Scale were used as a data collection tool. SPSS24.0 package program was used for the analysis of the data. In the research, descriptive statistics, normality tests, t-tests for independent groups and t-tests for dependent groups have been applied for the analysis of the obtained data. The level of significance at comparisons has been assumed to be as .05. As a result, it was seen that the experimental group showed a significant difference in success compared to the control group. While there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in terms of attitude towards mathematics, there was a significant difference between the pre-attitude scores and the post-attitude scores of the experimental group.
