Özet
Bilimi anlama faaliyetinde bulunan filozofların genelde ortaya koyduğu bilimin sürekli ilerlediği yönündeki yorumlardan farklı olarak bilimin kırılma ve sıçrama şeklindeki devrimlerle ilerlediğini savunan Kuhn'un görüşlerinin dayandığı esasları incelemeye çalıştık. Bunu yaparken de özellikle onun düşüncesindeki olağan bilim, olağanüstü bilim ve paradigma kavramlarını ele aldık. Araştırmamız, giriş ve iki ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında, önce eserlerinin bir tanıtımını yaptık ve sonra yetiştiği fikri ortam ile etkilendiği düşünürlerin görüşlerine kısaca değindik. Birinci bölümde düşünürümüzün bilim, bilim tarihi, bilim felsefesi ve metodolojiyle ilgili düşüncelerini ortaya koymaya gayret ettik. İkinci bölümde de onun bilimsel ilerlemeyle ilgili süreçleri nasıl ortaya koyduğu açıklamaya ve tartışmaya çalıştık. Sonuçta ise, yaptığımız çalışmayla ilgili genel bir değerlendirme yaparak Kuhn'un görüşlerinde merkezi kavramları göstermeye çalıştık.

This study aims to investigate the ideas of Kuhn who claims that science develops with breaks and restarts, which is different from the comments of those philosophers that suggest that science develops continuously. While doing this the focus of attention has been on ordinary science, extraordinary science, and paradigm in his mind. The study includes, Introduction and two main parts. In Introduction, a brief explanatory information is provided and then the period and the ideas of the philosophers were shortly dwelled on. Part One includes the thoughts of the philosopher on science, history of science, philosophy of science and methodology. Part Two contains the explanations and discussion of the philosopher as to his way of putting forward the processes concerning scientific development. Conclusion includes a general evaluation concerning the study and suggests the central concepts in his views.
