Bu çalışma, yetişkinlerde travmayla başa çıkma algısı, yaşamın anlamı ve ölüm anksiyetesi arasındaki ilişkileri incelemiştir. Veriler, 217 katılımcıdan“Travmayla Başa Çıkabilme Algısı Ölçeği”,“Yaşamın Anlamı Ölçeği”ve“Ölüm ve Ölmek ile İlgili Çok Yönlü Değerlendirme Envanteri”kullanılarak toplanmıştır. This study investigates the relationships between the perception of coping with trauma, meaning in life, and death anxiety in adults. Data were collected from 217 participants using the“Perception of Coping with Trauma Scale,”the“Meaning in Life Scale,”and the“Multidimensional Assessment of Death and Dying Inventory.”Results show that the perception of coping with trauma is positively correlated with meaning in life (r = 0.405, p < 0.001) and negatively correlated with death anxiety (r = -0.342, p < 0.001). While no significant relationship was found between meaning in life and death anxiety (r = -0.008, p = 0.912), a positive correlation was observed with the acceptance of death sub-dimension (r = 0.283, p < 0.001). Regression analysis revealed that meaning in life accounts for 16% of the variance in the perception of coping with trauma (R² = 0.164). Demographic factors, including age, gender, and education, significantly impacted the perception of coping with trauma and meaning in life but showed no significant effects on death anxiety. These findings highlight the importance of meaning-seeking in trauma coping processes, while death anxiety is influenced by various interconnected factors. This study offers insights into the dynamics between trauma, meaning in life, and death anxiety, contributing to both theoretical research and psychological counseling practices.
