Özet
Dünyanın sürekli değişen dinamikleri güvenlik tanımlamalarının ve alt kırılımlarının da kendi içerisinde farklılaşmasına neden olmuştur. Bu kapsamda küreselleşme, teknolojik ilerlemeler, bölgesel çatışmalar, göç, iklim değişikliği ve ekonomik dalgalanmalar gibi unsurlar farklı güvenlik tanımlamaları yapılmasını da beraberinde getirmiştir. Güvenliğin bu genişleme süreci tezde ilgili güvenlik teorileri doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. Ekonomi güvenliği de geleneksel güvenlik anlayışını değiştiren ve onun eksik yönlerini tamamlayan alternatif bir paradigma olarak ele alınmıştır. Neoliberalizmin etkileriyle şekillenen merkezi geleneksel finansın eksiklikleri ve sorunları bulunmaktadır. Bu sorunlar ile ortaya çıkan krizler, oluşum evreleri açısından ortak özelliklere sahiptir. Bu bakımdan çalışmanın amacı merkezi sistemde oluşan krizlerin merkeziyetsiz bir sistemde nasıl değişebileceğini göstermek üzerine tasarlanmıştır. Dolayısıyla, blok zincir bu noktada devreye girmektedir. Blok zincir teknolojisinin potansiyeliyle birlikte finansal sistem büyük bir dönüşüm içerisine girmiştir. Fakat bu dönüşüm finansal sistemlerin geleceği açısından olumlu görünmesine rağmen erken aşamada negatif tarafları da bulunmaktadır. Buna istinaden, blok zincir teknolojisi ve yerleşik ve/veya geleneksel finansal sistemin dönüşümünde oluşan merkeziyetsizliğin finansal sistemlerdeki sorunların çözümü mü yoksa dördüncü nesil bir krizin nedeni mi sorusu veriler ile açıklanmıştır. Tezde, blok zincirin finansal bağlantısı, ekonomi güvenliği, finansal krizler, kripto para ve bankacılık sistemine odaklanılmıştır. DXY, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Nasdaq, S&P 500 ve USDC/USDT üzerine çoklu regresyon analizi ve panel veri analizi metodları ile istatistik R programı kullanılarak bir modelleme yapılmıştır. Modelleme ile ortaya çıkarılan sonuç, genel ve zincir üstü veri analizleriyle bütünleştirilerek dördüncü nesil olarak tanımlanan bir krizin oluşma potansiyeline dikkat çekmektedir.

The ever-changing dynamics of the world have caused the security definitions and sub-divisions to differ within themselves. In this context, factors such as globalization, technological advances, regional conflicts, migration, climate change and economic fluctuations have contributed to the development of new security definitions. This process of expanding the scope of security has been analyzed in this thesis through the lens of relevant security theories. Additionally, economic security has been considered as an alternative paradigm that both alters the traditional understanding of security and addresses its shortcomings. Centralized traditional finance, shaped by the influence of neoliberalism, faces notable deficiencies and challenges. These problems and the crises that emerge have common characteristics in terms of their formation stages. In this respect, the aim of the study is designed to show how crises that occur in a centralized system can change in a decentralized system. Therefore, blockchain comes into play at this point. With the potential of blockchain technology, the financial system has entered a major transformation. However, although this transformation seems positive for the future of financial systems, it also has negative aspects in the early stages. Based on this, the question of whether blockchain technology and the decentralization emerging in the transformation of established and/or traditional financial systems represents a solution to the issues within financial systems or the cause of a fourth-generation crisis has been analyzed through data. The thesis focuses on the financial connection of blockchain, economic security, financial crises, cryptocurrencies and banking system. A modeling study was conducted using multiple regression analysis and panel data analysis methods on DXY, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Nasdaq, S&P 500, and USDC/USDT, utilizing the statistical software R. The result obtained by the modeling draws attention to the potential of a crisis defined as the fourth generation by integrating with general and on-chain data analysis.
