Özet
Sivil havacılık sektöründe nitelikli pilotların istihdamına yoğun bir talep bulunmaktadır. Bu talebin yanıtlanması ise pilot adaylarının eğitim süreçlerinde dijital eğitim teknolojilerinin kullanılması ile gerçekleşeceği düşünülmektedir. Dijital eğitim teknolojileri, 2020 yılında yaşanan salgın ile daha da yaygınlaşmış ve günümüz eğitim- öğretim süreçlerinin vazgeçilmez bir parçası olmuştur. Bu araştırmanın amacı üniversitelerde ve uçuş okullarında eğitim görmekte olan pilot adaylarının dijital eğitim teknolojilerinden, simülasyon teknolojileri, yapay zekâ teknolojileri ve web 2.0 teknolojilerine olan duyuşsal ve davranışsal eğilimlerini sosyodemografik değişkenler ile açıklamaktır. Pilotaj eğitiminde dijital eğitim teknolojileri ile ilgili bir çalışma olmaması literatürde önemli bir eksikliği dolduracağı düşünülmektedir. Çalışmada yöntem olarak yapısal eşitlik modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri ''Derste Teknoloji Kullanımına Yönelik Eğilim Ölçeği''nin araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş şekli ve sosyodemografik değişkenlerin yer aldığı kişisel bilgiler formu ile toplanmıştır. Çalışma, Türk Hava Kurumu Üniversitesi pilotaj programı öğrencileri ile Ankara, İstanbul ve Bursa'da bulunan SHGM onaylı uçuş okullarında PPL ve ATPL pilot lisanlarında eğitim görmekte olan 697 pilot adayına, yüz yüze ve çevrimiçi anket formu ile uygulanmıştır. Araştırma verileri sonucunda pilot adaylarının dijital eğitim teknolojilerinden web 2.0 teknolojileri, simülasyon teknolojileri, yapay zekâ teknolojilerine olan davranışsal eğilimleri ile cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim düzeyi, aylık gelir, pilot lisansı, dijital eğitim teknolojilerinin kullanımı ile ilgili ders alma durumları arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca web 2.0 teknolojilerine duyuşsal ve davranışsal eğilimleri ilk sırada yer alırken, yapay zekâ teknolojileri ikinci sırada, simülasyon teknolojileri ise son sırada yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir.

There is a high demand for the employment of qualified pilots in the civil aviation sector. It is thought that this demand will be met by using digital education technologies in the training processes of pilot candidates. Digital education technologies have become even more widespread with the pandemic experienced in 2020 and have become an indispensable part of today's education-training processes. The aim of this research is to explain the affective and behavioral tendencies of pilot candidates receiving education in universities and flight schools towards digital education technologies, simulation technologies, artificial intelligence technologies and web 2.0 technologies with sociodemographic variables. It is thought that the absence of a study on digital education technologies in pilot training will fill an important gap in the literature. Structural equation modeling was used as the method in the study. The research data were collected with the form of the“Technology Usage Tendency Scale”developed by the researcher and the personal information form including sociodemographic variables. The study was conducted with face-to-face and online surveys on 697 pilot candidates who are studying at the pilot program of the Turkish Aeronautical Association University and at the SHGM approved flight schools in Ankara, İstanbul and Bursa for PPL and ATPL pilot licenses. As a result of the research data, a positive relationship was found between the behavioral tendencies of the pilot candidates towards web 2.0 technologies, simulation technologies and artificial intelligence technologies from digital education technologies and their gender, age, education level, monthly income, pilot license and taking courses on the use of digital education technologies. In addition, it was determined that their affective and behavioral tendencies towards web 2.0 technologies were in the first place, artificial intelligence technologies were in the second place and simulation technologies were in the last place.
