Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı Sağlık Eğitimlerinde Pecha Kucha sunum tekniğini kullanan hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sunum becerisi, memnuniyet ve motivasyonlarını incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma evrenini, Ege Üniversitesi Hemşirelik Fakültesi 2023-2024 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören birinci sınıf öğrencileri (N=272) oluşturmaktadır. Bu öğrenciler randomizasyon yöntemi ile 6-8'er kişilik girişim ve kontrol gruplarına ayrılmıştır. Girişim grubundaki öğrencilere Pecha Kucha sunum tekniği ile sağlık eğitimi konularında sunum yaptırılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda, girişim grubuna Öğretim Materyali Motivasyon Anketi, Görsel Kıyaslama Ölçeği, Sunum Becerileri Değerlendirme Formu (SBDF) ve Pecha Kucha Geri Bildirim Formu son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; Girişim grubu ile kontrol grubunun tanımlayıcı özellikler açısından benzer oldukları saptanmıştır (p>0,05). Girişim ve kontrol grubu arasında Sunum Becerileri Değerlendirme Formu puanları açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur (Z=-6,965; p<0,05). Kontrol grubundaki hemşirelik öğrencilerinin Görsel Kıyaslama Ölçeği puanları ile Dikkat – Uygunluk alt boyutu (r=0,717), Güven – Tatmin alt boyutu (r=0,742) ve Öğretim Materyali Motivasyon Anketi toplam (r=0,775) puanları arasında pozitif yönlü yüksek düzey ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0,001). Sonuç: Hemşirelik mesleğinin ilerlemesinde ve sürdürülmesinde ana unsur olan hemşirelik eğitiminin inovatif dünya ile güncellenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu güncellemenin unsurlarından biri de hemşirelik eğitimine yenilikçi öğretim teknik ve yöntemlerinin yerleştirilmesidir. Yenilikçi öğretim tekniklerinden biri olan Pecha Kucha sunum tekniğinin sağlık alanında yapılan eğitimlerde kullanılması hemşirelik öğrencilerinin özgüven, motivasyonlarının ve sunum becerilerinin artmasını sağlamaktadır. Aim: The purpose of this study was to examine the presentation skills, satisfaction and motivation of nursing students using the Pecha Kucha presentation technique. Materials and Methods: The study population consisted of first-year students (N=272) studying at Ege University Faculty of Nursing in the 2023-2024 academic year. These students were randomised into intervention and control groups of 6-8 students each. Students in the intervention group were given a health education presentation using the Pecha Kucha method. At the end of the study, the Teaching Material Motivation Survey (TMMS), Visual Comparison Scale(VCS), Presentation Skills Evaluation Form (PSE) and Pecha Kucha Feedback Form (PKFF) were administered to the intervention group as post-tests. Findings: According to the results obtained, it was found that the intervention group and the control group were similar in terms of descriptive characteristics (p>0.05). A statistically significant difference was found between the intervention and control groups on the Presentation Skills Evaluation Form (Z=-6.965; p<0.05). A positive high-level correlation was found between the Visual Comparison Scale scores of the nursing students in the control group and the Attention - Relevance sub-dimension (r=0.717), the Confidence - Satisfaction sub-dimension (r=0.742) and the Teaching Material Motivation Questionnaire total score (r=0.775) (p<0.001). Conclusion: Nursing education, which is the main element in the advancement and maintenance of the nursing profession, needs to be updated with the innovative world. The use of the Pecha Kucha presentation technique, one of the innovative teaching techniques, in training in the health field increases the self-confidence, motivation and presentation skills of nursing students.
