Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, mesleksel ve çevresel gürültüye maruz kalan bireylerin gürültü maruziyet algısını incelemek ve kişilerin karakter analizi ile gürültüye maruziyetleri arasındaki ilişkiyi kişilik ölçeği ile değerlendirmektir. Gürültü maruziyet algısını değerlendirmek ve ölçmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Çalışmaya 18-65 yaş aralığında 420 erkek ve 80 kadın olmak üzere normal işitmeye sahip 500 birey katılmıştır. Çalışma 2 ana gruptan oluşmaktadır. Birinci grup mesleksel gürültüye maruz kalan bireylerden oluşmaktadır. İkinci grup ise çevresel gürültüye maruz kalan bireylerden oluşmaktadır. Birinci grup mavi yakalı çalışanlardan oluşmakla birlikte ağır ve çok tehlikeli iş yerlerinde çalışmaktadır. Çalışmada dahil edilme kriterlerine uygun bireylere anamnez formu verilmiştir. Otoskopik muayenesi normal olan kişilerin saf ses odyometri sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir hem yüz yüze hem de Google Formlar üzerinden oluşturulmuş online anket ile ölçekler doldurtulmuştur. 500 kişilik örneklemden seçilen bir pilot gruba Weinstein Gürültü Hassasiyet Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Gürültü Maruziyeti Algısı Ölçeği'nin (GMAÖ) yapı geçerliliğini test etmek amacıyla, açımlayıcı faktör analizi (AFA) kullanılmış, elde edilen faktör yapısının doğrulanması için ise doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonucunda ilgili faktörler 0,5'in üzerinde, birçoğu ise 0,8'in üzerinde anlamlı bir ilişki göstermiştir. Bu bulgu, ölçeğin iç tutarlılığının yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak GMAÖ'nin 11 soru ve 3 faktörden oluştuğu görülmektedir. GMAÖ'nden alınabilecek puan aralığı 0 ile 44 arasında değişmekte iken, gürültü maruziyet puan ortalamasının 12,95 olduğu belirlenmiştir; faktör 1 puan ortalaması 8,34 (0-20 puan) faktör 2 puan ortalaması 3,80 (0-12 puan) faktör 3 puan ortalaması (0-12 puan) 2,80 olarak elde edilmiştir. On Maddeli Kişilik Ölçeğinde alınan ortalama puanlar; dışadönüklük düzeyi 4,77, yumuşak başlılık düzeyi 4,70, sorumluluk düzeyi 5,01, duygusal denge düzeyi 5,41 ve deneyimlere açıklık düzeyi 5,08 olarak hesaplanmıştır. The aim of this study is to examine the perception of noise exposure in individuals exposed to occupational and environmental noise and to evaluate the relationship between the character analysis of individuals and their exposure to noise using a personality scale. To develop a valid and reliable scale to evaluate and measure the perception of noise exposure. 500 individuals with normal hearing, 420 males and 80 females between the ages of 18-65, participated in the study. The study consists of 2 main groups. The first group consists of individuals exposed to occupational noise. The second group consists of individuals exposed to environmental noise. The first group consists of blue-collar workers and works in heavy and very dangerous workplaces. A medical history form was given to individuals who met the inclusion criteria in the study. Pure tone audiometry results of individuals with normal otoscopic examinations were evaluated and the scales were filled out both face-to-face and with an online survey created via Google Forms. The Weinstein Noise Sensitivity Scale was applied to a pilot group selected from a sample of 500 people. In order to test the structural validity of the Noise Exposure Perception Scale (NOPS), exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used, and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was applied to verify the obtained factor structure. As a result of the analysis, the relevant factors showed a significant relationship above 0.5, and most of them above 0.8. This finding shows that the internal consistency of the scale is high. As a result, it is seen that NOPS consists of 11 questions and 3 factors. While the score range that can be obtained from NOPS varies between 0 and 44, it was determined that the noise exposure score average was 12.95; the factor 1 score average was 8.34 (0-20 points), the factor 2 score average was 3.80 (0-12 points), and the factor 3 score average (0-12 points) was 2.80. The average scores obtained from the Ten-Item Personality Scale; extraversion level was calculated as 4.77, agreeableness level as 4.70, conscientiousness level as 5.01, emotional stability level as 5.41 and openness to experience level as 5.08.
