Özet
Deyimler, Türkçenin ifade gücünü ve zenginliğini yansıtan önemli unsurlardan biridir. Zenginleştirilmiş bir Türkçe öğretimi sürecinde deyimlerin önemi büyüktür. Özellikle yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde deyimlerin kullanımı, bireylerin kendilerini ifade etme becerilerini geliştirmeleri açısından etkili bir rol oynamaktadır. Son yıllarda Türkçenin deyim zenginliğini yabancılara öğretirken farklı yöntemlerin kullanılması önem kazanmıştır. Bu bağlamda drama yöntemi, deyimlerin öğretiminde etkili bir araç olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi kapsamında deyimlerin öğretiminde drama yönteminin katkısını incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini, Pendik'te uluslararası bir lisede öğrenim gören 14-18 yaş aralığındaki 30 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Öğrenciler, drama yöntemi ile deyim öğretimi yapılan deney grubu (15 öğrenci) ve düz anlatım yöntemi ile öğretim yapılan kontrol grubu (15 öğrenci) olarak iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Belirlenen 20 deyim deney grubundaki öğrencilere drama yöntemi ile kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere ise düz anlatım yöntemi ile öğretilmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön test-son test kontrol gruplu seçkisiz desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada belirlenen deyimlerin öğretimine ilişkin verilerin toplanabilmesi amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Deyim Başarı Testi uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, bağımsız örneklem t-testi kullanılarak ön test-son test sonuçları incelenmiş ve elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, drama yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilen deyim öğretiminin öğrencilerin öğrenme sürecine aktif katılımını desteklediğini ve akademik başarılarında anlamlı bir artış sağladığını ortaya koymuştur. Drama yöntemi, öğrencilerin sürece aktif katılımını teşvik ederken deyimlerin anlamlandırılmasını ve bağlam içinde doğru biçimde kullanılmasını desteklemektedir. Sonuç olarak yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde drama teknikleriyle desteklenen öğrenme ortamlarının deyim öğretiminde etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Idioms are one of the important elements reflecting the expressive power and richness of Turkish. Idioms are of great importance in an enriched Turkish teaching process. Especially in teaching Turkish to foreigners, the use of idioms plays an effective role in terms of developing individuals' self-expression skills. In recent years, it has gained importance to use different methods in teaching the richness of Turkish idioms to foreigners. In this context, drama method stands out as an effective tool in teaching idioms. This study aims to examine the contribution of drama method in teaching idioms within the scope of teaching Turkish to foreigners. The sample of the study consisted of 30 students between the ages of 14-18 studying at an international high school in Pendik. The students were divided into two groups as the experimental group (15 students) who were taught idioms with the drama method and the control group (15 students) who were taught with the lecture method. The 20 idioms were taught to the students in the experimental group using the drama method and to the students in the control group using the lecture method. In the study, a randomized design with pre-test-post-test control group, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The Idiom Achievement Test prepared by the researcher was applied in order to collect data on the teaching of the idioms determined in the study. In this study, pre-test-post-test results were examined using independent sample t-test and the data obtained were analyzed. The findings revealed that teaching idioms with drama method supported students' active participation in the learning process and provided a significant increase in their academic achievement. While the drama method encourages students' active participation in the process, it supports the meaning of idioms and their correct use in context. As a result, it has been determined that learning environments supported by drama techniques in teaching Turkish to foreigners are effective in teaching idioms.
