Özet
Piyano müzik eğitiminin en temel çalgılarından biridir ve piyano ile eşlik de müzik eğitimi sürecinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bilhassa eğitim öğretim ortamında piyanonun aktif kullanımı, genellikle eşlik çalma olarak gerçekleşmektedir. Bu doğrultuda araştırma, müzik öğretmenlerinin piyano eşliğe ilişkin görüşlerini ve aldıkları piyano eğitimini kullanabilme durumlarını tespit etmeyi amaçlamıştır. Araştırma, 2024-2025 eğitim-öğretim yılında, Trabzon/Artvin ilindeki ve ilçelerdeki okullarda görev yapan müzik öğretmenlerinin ilgili ölçeğe ve görüş alma formuna verdikleri cevapların analizlerine dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırma Karma araştırma modellerinde yakınsak paralel (ya da eş zamanlı) desen biçiminde sunulmuştur. Hem nitel hem de nicel veri toplama tercih edilmiştir. Nicel veriler ölçek yardımıyla toplanırken, nitel veriler de görüş alma formu ile toplanmıştır. Her iki veri türü de çalışma grubuna aynı anda sunulmuştur. Çalışmadaki nicel veriler için Kurtuldu (2016) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan“piyano ile eşliğin önemi ve gerekliliğine ilişkin ölçek”veri toplama aracı olmuştur. Ayrıca müzik öğretmenlerinin aldıkları piyano eğitimini meslek yaşantılarında kullanma durumları, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş olan görüş alma formu ile toplanmıştır. İlgili form da nitel bölümü temsil etmektedir. Ölçme araçları hazırlandıktan sonra çevrimiçi forma dönüştürülmüş ve çalışma grubuna uygulanmıştır. İki farklı bağlantı linki biçiminde aynı anda çalışma grubuna gönderilen verilerin toplanması 3,5 ay civarında sürmüştür. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda, katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğunun piyanoda eşlik konusuna önem verdikleri, okul ve sınıf ortamında piyano ile eşliğin önemli ve gerekli olduğunu ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Ayrıca piyano ya da benzeri yan uygulamalarla desteklenen eşlik dersleri aldığı; mesleki yaşamlarında eşlik çalma ya da eşlik yapma becerilerine ihtiyaç duydukları; okul içi etkinlikler ve koro çalışmaları kapsamında eşlik uygulamalarına yer verildiği; ancak zaman zaman fiziksel ya da kurumsal imkân yetersizlikleri nedeniyle bu çalışmaların gerçekleştirilemediği sonucuna da ulaşılmıştır.

Piano is one of the most basic instruments of music education and piano and accompaniment also have an important place in the music education process. Especially in the education and training environment, the active use of the piano is usually carried out as accompaniment. In this direction, the research aimed to determine the views of music teachers on piano accompaniment and their ability to use the piano education they received. The research was conducted in the 2024-2025 academic year based on the analysis of the responses of music teachers working in schools in Trabzon/Artvin province and districts to the relevant scale and opinion-gathering form. This research is presented in the form of convergent parallel (or simultaneous) design in Mixed research models. Both qualitative and quantitative data collection was preferred. While quantitative data was collected with the help of the scale, qualitative data was also collected with the opinion-gathering form. Both types of data were presented to the study group at the same time. For the quantitative data in the study, the“scale on the importance and necessity of piano accompaniment”developed by Kurtuldu (2016) was the data collection tool. In addition, the use of piano education received by music teachers in their professional lives was collected with the opinion form developed by the researcher. The relevant form also represents the qualitative section. After the measurement tools were prepared, they were converted into an online form and applied to the study group. The collection of data sent to the study group simultaneously in two different link formats took approximately 3.5 months. In line with the findings of the research, it was observed that the majority of the participants gave importance to the subject of accompaniment on the piano and stated that accompaniment with the piano is important and necessary in school and classroom environment. In addition, it was also concluded that they took accompaniment lessons supported by piano or similar ancillary applications; that they need accompaniment playing or accompaniment skills in their professional lives; that accompaniment practices are included in the scope of in-school activities and choir activities; but that these studies cannot be carried out from time to time due to insufficient physical or institutional facilities.
