Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırma, öğrencilerin ve ebeveynlerin cinsel sağlık eğitimine ilişkin görüş ve tutumlarının değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma karma yöntem yaklaşımı çerçevesinde Eskişehir ilinde Anadolu Lisesi ile Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi olmak üzere 2 okulda yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın birinci aşaması olan nicel araştırma verileri 25.03.2024- 22.04.2024 tarihleri arasında araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan 211 öğrenci ile bu öğrencilerin ebeveyni olan 211 anne ve 211 babadan“Kişisel Bilgi Formu (Öğrenci/Ebeveyn)”ve“Cinsel Eğitime Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (Öğrenci/Ebeveyn)”kullanılarak anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında nitel aşama verileri 06.05.2024-02.09.2024 tarihleri arasında, araştırmanın nicel aşamasında“Birebir görüşmeyi kabul ediyorum”diyen 13 öğrenci ile bu öğrencilerin ebeveyni olan 13 anne ve 13 babadan“Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu (Öğrenci/Ebeveyn)”kullanılarak yüz yüze görüşme tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Nicel aşama verileri SPSS 20 programı, nitel aşama verileri ise MAXQDA24 yazılımı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Nicel ve nitel aşama analizinden elde edilen bulgular bir arada değerlendirilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin (57,27±8,35), annelerin (123,61±15,54) ve babaların (118,86±15,59) cinsel eğitime yönelik tutumlarının olumlu olduğu; öğrenci ve ebeveynlerin sosyodemografik özelliklerinin cinsel eğitime yönelik tutumlarını etkilemediği (p>0,05); yalnızca babaların cinsel eğitime yönelik tutumlarında eğitim durumunun etkili olduğu (p

Purpose: This study was conducted to assess the opinions and attitudes of students and parents regarding sexual health education. Method: The research was conducted in two schools, an Anatolian High School and a Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Eskişehir, within the framework of a mixed methods approach. The quantitative research data, which is the first phase of the research, were collected between March 25, 2024 and April 22, 2024, from 211 students who volunteered to participate in the research, and 211 mothers and 211 fathers who are the parents of these students, using the“Personal Information Form (Student/Parent)”and the“Attitude Scale Towards Sex Education (Student/Parent)”via a survey method. In the second phase of the research, the qualitative data were collected between May 6, 2024 and September 2, 2024, from 13 students who said“I accept one-on-one interviews”in the quantitative phase of the research, and 13 mothers and 13 fathers who are the parents of these students, using the“Semi-Structured Interview Form (Student/Parent)”via face-to-face interview technique. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS 20, and qualitative data were analyzed using MAXQDA24 software. The findings from the quantitative and qualitative analyses were evaluated and interpreted together.
