Özet

Bu calismada Abant Izzet Baysal Universitesi ögrencilerinde bas agnsi ve depresyon ilişkisini arastrdik. Bu amaçla 307 ögrenciye hazirladigimiz bas agrnsi formunu ve depresyon sorgu formunu doldurttuk. Bu 307 ögrencinin 4 tanesi hayatlan boyunca hiç bas agrısi çekmemisti. 89 kiside aurali migren, 68 kiside aurasiz migren, 119 kiside GTBA ve 27 kiside küme bas agrisi tespit ettik. Bas agrisi cinsiyet iliskisi sadece küme bas agrisinda istatistiki olarak anlamli bulundu ve küme bas agrisi erkeklerde daha fazla görülüyordu. 303 ögrencinin 132 sinde depresyon vardı. Erkek depresyonlu ögrencilerde aurali migren ve küme bas agnisi daha fazla görülürken, aurasiz migren ve GTBA daha az görülmekteydi. Kadin depresyonlu oğrencilerle bas agrisi iliskisi istatistiki olarak anlamli bulunmadi. Sonuç olarak depresyoniu ogrencilerde aural migren ve küme bas agrisi daha çok görülüyor, GTBA daha az gorilüyordu ve bunlar istatistiki olarak anlamlıydi.

In this study, we investigated the relationship between headache and depression in the students of Abant Izzet Baysal University. On this purpose, we applied headache and depression questionnaires to 307 students. Four of this 307 students have never experienced any headache in their lifetimes. We determined migraine with auras in 89 students, migraine without auras in 68 students, tension type headache in 119 students and cluster headache in 27 students. Only in cluster headache, the relationship between headache and gender was found to be statistically significant and cluster headache was more frequent in males. There was depression in 132 of 303 students. Migraine with auras and cluster headache were more frequent in male students with depression, while migraine without auras and tension type headache were less frequent. No statistically significant differences were found in the relationship between headache and female students with depression. As a result, migraine with auras and cluster headaches were more frequent in patients with depressson, while tension type headache were less frequent and these results were found to be statistically significant.
