Özet

Amaç: Bu araştırmada 7. sınıf“Işığın Madde ile Etkileşimi”ünitesi kapsamında uygulanan REACT stratejisinin öğrencilerin problem çözme becerilerine yönelik algı, analitik düşünme ve akademik başarılarına etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Yöntem: Araştırmada nicel araştırma desenlerinden yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Kastamonu ili Hanönü ilçesindeki iki devlet okulundan seçilen 25 yedinci sınıf öğrencisi ile araştırma yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Işığın Madde ile Etkileşimi Başarı Testi (IMEBT), Ocak ve Park (2020) tarafından geliştirilen Analitik Düşünme Ölçeği (ADÖ) ve İnel (2014) tarafından geliştirilen Problem Çözme Becerilerine Yönelik Algı Ölçeği (PÇBYAÖ) kullanılmıştır. Deneysel uygulama iki ay boyunca sürmüştür. Verilerin analizi için Mann Whitney U Testi, bağımsız örneklem t testi, bağımlı örneklem t testi ve Wilcoxon işaretli sıralar testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada problem çözme becerilerine yönelik algı açısından ön ve son testte gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark görülmemiştir (p>.05). Ayrıca“Problem Çözmeye Yönelik İstek ve Kararlılık”alt boyutunda son testte DG lehine fark belirlenmiştir (p.05). Ancak DG'de son testte ADÖ'nün“Çalışma Stratejisi”faktöründe ön testte göre anlamlı bir farklılık görülmüştür (p

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effects of the REACT strategy, applied within the 7th-grade unit“Interaction of Light with Matter,”on students' perception of problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and academic achievement. Method: A quasi-experimental design, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. The research was conducted with 25 7th grade students selected from two public schools in Hanönü district of Kastamonu province. Data collection tools included the“Interaction of Light with Matter Achievement Test”(ILMAT) developed by the researcher, the Analytical Thinking Scale (ATS) developed by Ocak and Park (2020), and the Perception Scale for Problem-Solving Skills (PSPSS) developed by İnel (2014). The experimental application lasted for two months. Data were analyzed using Mann-Whitney U Test, independent samples t-test, paired samples t-test, and Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Findings: There was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of perception of problem solving skills in the pre-test and post-test (p>.05). In addition, a difference was determined in favor of DG in the sub-dimension of“Desire and Determination Towards Problem Solving”in the post-test (p.05).
