Özet
Arteria cerebri anterior (ACA), arteria carotis internadan (ACI) köken almaktadır. Başlangıcından itibaren uzun bir seyir göstermekle birlikte çoklu dallanmalarıyla kortikal alanları ve hemisfer yapılarının geniş bir bölümünü besleyen önemli bir arterdir. Bu çalışmada ACA ve dallarının morfometrilk özellikleri ve hemisfer yapılarıyla olan ilişkisinin incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. T.C. Adli Tıp Kurumu'ndan 41'i kadın ve 151'i erkek toplam 192 taze kadavra çalışmaya dahil edildi. ACA'nın A1 segmentinini uzunluğu ile proksimal ve distal dış çap ölçümü, ACA' A2 segmentinin uzunluğu ile proksimal ve distal çap ölçümü, arteria callosomarginalis'in (ACm) uzunluğu ve proksimal dış çap ölçümü, arteria pericallosa'nın (APc) uzunluğu ile proksimal dış çap ölçümü, arteria striata medialis distalis'in (ASMD) proksimal dış çap ölçümü, arteria orbitofrontalis medialis'in (AOFM) proksimal dış çap ölçümü ile ACA'nın AOFM'i verdiği noktadaki dış çap ölçümü, arteria polaris frontalis'in (APF) proksimal dış çap ölçümü ile ACA'nın APF'i verdiği noktadaki dış çap ölçümü, ramus frontalis medialis'in (RFM) proksimal dış çap ölçümü, ramus frontalis anteromedialis'in (RFAM) proksimal dış çap ölçümü ile ACA'nın RFAM'i verdiği noktadaki dış çap ölçümü, ramus frontalis intermediomedialis'in (RFIM) proksimal dış çap ölçümü, ramus frontalis posteromedialis'in (RFPM) proksimal dış çap ölçümü, arteria paracentralis'in proksimal dış çap ölçümü gerçekleştirildi. Morfolojik olarak ASMD'in dal sayısı, orijin segmenti ve terminasyonu, AOFM'in dal sayısı, orijin segmenti ve terminasyonu, APF'in dal sayısı, orijin segmenti ve terminasyonu ile RFAM'in orijin segmenti ile terminasyonu incelendi. Cinsiyetlere göre yapılan istatistiksel karşılaştırmalarda; A2 segmentinin uzunluğunun (p=0,018) anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği saptandı. Taraflara göre yapılan karşılaştırlamalarda; A2 segmentinin uzunluğunun (p<0,001), A1 segmentinini proksimal dış çapının (p=0,048) ve A1 segmentinin distal dış çapının (p= 0,005) anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği bulundu.

The anterior cerebral artery (ACA) originates from the internal carotid artery (ICA). Although it follows a long course from its origin, it is an important artery that supplies a wide portion of the cortical areas and hemisphere structures with its multiple branches. This study aimed to examine the morphometric characteristics of the ACA and its branches and their relationship with hemisphere structures. A total of 192 fresh cadavers, 41 female and 151 male, from the Council of Forensic Medicine of the Republic of Turkey were included in the study. The length of the A1 segment of the ACA, proximal and distal external diameter measurements, the length of the A2 segment of the ACA, proximal and distal diameter measurements, the length and proximal external diameter measurements of the callosomarginal artery (ACm), the length and proximal external diameter measurements of the pericallosal artery (APc), the proximal external diameter measurement of the distal medial striate artery (ASMD), the proximal external diameter measurement of the medial orbitofrontal artery (AOFM) and the external diameter measurement at the point where the ACA gives off the AOFM, the proximal external diameter measurement of the polar frontal artery (APF) and the external diameter measurement at the point where the ACA gives off the APF, the proximal external diameter measurement of the medial frontal ramus (RFM), the proximal external diameter measurement of the anteromedial frontal ramus (RFAM) and the external diameter measurement at the point where the ACA gives off the RFAM, the proximal external diameter measurement of the intermediomedial frontal ramus (RFIM), the proximal external diameter measurement of the posteromedial frontal ramus (RFPM), and the proximal external diameter measurement of the paracentral artery were performed. Morphologically, the number of branches, origin segment, and termination of the ASMD, the number of branches, origin segment, and termination of the AOFM, the number of branches, origin segment, and termination of the APF, and the origin segment and termination of the RFAM were examined. In the statistical comparisons made according to sex; it was found that the length of the A2 segment (p=0.018) showed a significant difference. In comparisons made according to sides; it was found that the length of the A2 segment (p<0.001), the proximal external diameter of the A1 segment (p=0.048), and the distal external diameter of the A1 segment (p=0.005) showed significant differences.
