Özet
“Cahiliyeden Asr-ı Saâdete Kadınlarda Değişim ve Dönüşüm”adlı bu tez çalışmamızda, İslamiyet öncesi Arap toplumunda kadınların sahip olduğu sosyal ve hukuki konum ile İslam'ın gelişiyle birlikte bu konumda yaşanan değişimi inceledik. Temel amacımız, İslam'ın kadına kazandırdığı hakların yalnızca teorik düzeyde değil, Hz. Peygamber'in uygulamalarıyla birlikte nasıl hayata geçirildiğini göstermek ve bu dönüşümün kadınlar üzerindeki etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmamızın kapsamını, Cahiliye Dönemi'nde kadının aile ve toplum içerisindeki yeri, eğitim düzeyi ve sahip olduğu haklar ile Asr-ı Saâdet Dönemi'nde kadına verilen hukuki imkânlar, bu hakların Hz. Peygamber'in uygulamalarıyla toplumsal hayata yansıtılışı, eğitim düzeyindeki belirgin ilerleme ve tüm bu gelişmelerin kadınların özgüven, bilinç ve toplumsal görünürlükleri üzerindeki etkileri oluşturmaktadır. İslam'ın kadına verdiği değeri konu edinen birçok çalışma mevcut olmakla birlikte, bu çalışmada daha çok kadınların sürece verdikleri tepkiler, katılımları ve değişimin öznesi olarak üstlendikleri roller sosyal tarih bağlamında incelenmiş; bu çerçevede yaşanan toplumsal değişim ve dönüşüm öncelemeye çalışılmıştır. Bu nedenle tezimizde hem klasik İslam tarihi kaynaklarından hem de güncel literatürden faydalanılmış, konuya bütüncül ve karşılaştırmalı bir bakış açısı sunulmuştur. Müslümanlar tarafından en ideal dönem olarak kabul edilen Asr-ı Saâdet, bu bağlamda yalnızca bir dini yükselişin değil; aynı zamanda kadının toplumsal ve entelektüel konumunda yaşanan büyük bir zihniyet değişiminin de ifadesi olmuştur.

“Change and Transformation in Women from Ignorance to the Age of Bliss”In this thesis study, we examined the change in the social and legal status of women in pre-Islamic Arab society with the advent of Islam. Our main goal is to show that the rights Islam granted to women were not only theoretical but were also implemented in real life through the practices of the Prophet Muhammad, and to reveal the effects of this transformation on women. The scope of our research includes the position of women in the family and society during the Age of Ignorance, the level of education aand rights they possessed, and the legal opportunities provided to women during the Era of Bliss. It also explores how these rights were reflected in social life through the practices of the Prophet Muhammad, the significant progress made in education, and how these developments affected women's freedom, awareness, and social visibility. While numerous studies have explored the value Islam attributes to women, the present research focuses primarily on examining, within the framework of social history, women's responses to historical processes, their active participation, and the roles they assumed as agents of change. Within this scope, particular attention has been given to the dynamics of social change and transformation. For this reason, our thesis makes use of both classical Islamic historical sources and current literature, providing a holistic and comparative perspective on the subject. The Era of Bliss, considered by Muslims as the ideal period, has been interpreted in this context not only as a time of religious ascension but also as an expression of a major intellectual transformation in the societal and intellectual status of women.
