Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı Geleneksel Öğretim yöntemi (Öğretim yöntemi - 2) uygulanan sınıfın Kimya başarısı ile Kavram Haritalarının (Öğretim yöntemi - 1) uygulandığı sınıfın Kimya başarısını karşılaştırmaktır. Bu çalışmada Lise II sınıflarından seçilen iki sınıftan toplam 74 öğrenci denek olarak kullanılmıştır. Verileri toplamak için Mantıksal Düşünme Yeteneği Testi, Bilimsel Basan Testi ve Kimya Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda Kavram Haritaları yöntemi kullanılan sınıfın akademik başarısı, Geleneksel Yöntem kullanılan sınıfın akademik başarısından daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. VI

ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to compare the achievement of Traditional Method (Teaching Method - 2) with that of Concept Mapping (Teaching Method - 1), which was implemented on a number of students. In this study, 74 students chosen from High School grade 2 were used as subjects. Logical thinking ability, Scientific Success Test, and Chemistry Attitude Scale were used to collect data. As a result of the study, it was observed that the academical achievement of the students who were instructed using Concept Maps was higher than that of the students' that were instructed using Traditional Method. vn
