ÖZET Demir, N., Serebral paralizili çocuklarda oromotor fonksiyonların değerlendirilmesi, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Fizik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon Programı Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Ankara, 2002. Serebral paralizi (SP)'de oromotor fonksiyonlar olumsuz yönde etkilenmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı SP'li çocuklarda oromotor fonksiyonların niteliğini belirlemek ve var olan fiziksel problemlerin oromotor fonksiyonlara etkisini araştırmaktır. Çalışmamız Hacettepe Üniversitesi Fizik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon Yüksekokulu Serebral Paralizi ve Pediatrik Nöroloji Ünitesi'nde takip ya da tedavi edilen 67 çocuğun yaş ortalaması 9.00±3 yıldır. Oromotor problemi olan 52 SP'li çocuk çalışma grubunu, oromotor problemi olmayan 15 SP'li çocuk kontrol grubu olarak alındı. Tüm olgulara periferal oral değerlendirme, orofasiyal kas testi, solunum değerlendirmesi, modifiye Ashworth skalası kullanılarak spastisite değerlendirilmesi, Bobath motor gelişim testi, WeeFİM fonksiyonel bağımsızlık testi ve refleks test uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde ettiğimiz veriler incelendiğinde solunum fonksiyonlarının oral kas kuvveti ve damak, larinks, yutma fonksiyonlarının çalışma grubunda kontrol grubuna göre daha yetersiz olduğu saptandı (p

ABSTRACT Demir N.,Assessment of oromotor function of children with Cerebral Palsy,Hacettepe University, Health Science Institute, Master Thesis in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, ANKARA,2002. Oromotor functions negatively affected by Cerebral Palsy(CP). The purpose of this study is to determine the spesification of oromotor functions and to search the effect of oromotor functions to existing physical problems. Our study was conducted on 67 children with CP who were under treatment in the School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Hacettepe University.The average age of the children is 9±3 years old. Fiftytwo children with CP,who has oromotor dysfunction were taken to the study group, and fifteen children with CP who has not oromotor disfunction were taken to the control group. Peripheral oral examination, orafascial muscle test, respiration, spasticity and Bobath motor functions development test and reflex tests were applied to the all children.
