ERCİYES DAĞI (KAYSERİ) FLORASI (Doktora Tezi) Cem VURAL GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Ekim 2002 ÖZET Bu çalışma, İç Anadolu'da B5 karesinde ve Kayseri il sınırları içerisinde yer alan Erciyes Dağı'nın florasını içermektedir. Tamamen İran-Turan bitki coğrafyası bölgesine giren çalışma alanından 1996-2002 yılları arasında toplanan 2554 bitki örneğinin değerlendirilmesi sonucu 89 familya ve 433 cinse ait 1216 (1159 tür, 32 alttür, 25 varyete) tür ve tür altı takson tespit edilmiştir. Bu taksonlardan 11'i eğreltiler, 12'si açık tohumlular, 1193'ü kapalı tohumlular (1013'ü aift aenekliler, 180'i tek aenekliler) alt bölümlerine dahildir. Bu taksonlardan 34 tanesi kültür bitkisidir. İhtiva ettikleri takson sayısı bakımından büyük familyalar şunlardır: Asteraceae (124), Fabaceae (123) ve Poaceae (88)'dir. En aok türle temsil edilen cinsler ise Astragalus (43), Silene (22) ve Veronica (20)'dır. Bitki coğrafyası elemanlarının dağılımında İran- Turan 375 takson (%30,8), Akdeniz 92 takson (%7,5), Avrupa-Sibirya 80 takson (%6,5) ve diğerleri 669 takson (%55)'dur. Alandaki endemik tür sayısı 189 (%16,9) olup 12'si Erciyes Dağı'na özgüdür. Yalnız tip örneğinden bilinen Hieracium argaeum ve Asyneuma trichostegium türleri ikinci kez toplanmıştır. 235 takson B5 karesi için yeni kayıttır. THE FLORA OF MOUNT ERCİYES (KAYSERİ) (Ph. D. Thesis) Cem VURAL GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY October 2002 ABSTRACT This research has contained the flora of mount Erciyes situated in the province of Kayseri in Central Anatolia, taking place entirely in the Irano-Turanian phytogeographic region. 2554 plant specimens have collected from research area between 1996 and 2002. An examination of these specimens has revealed 89 families, 433 genera, 1216 species, 32 subspecies, 25 varietes. From these 1216 taxa, 11 of them are Pteridophytes, 12.of them are Gymnosperms and 1193 of them are angiosperms (1013 Dicotyledons and 180 Monocotyledons). 34 species of them are cultivars. According to the taxa numbers, Asteraceae with 124 taxa, the Fabaceae with 123 taxa, the Poaceae with 88 taxa are the largest families. Respectively, the largest genera are Astragalus (43 taxa), Silene (22 taxa) and Veronica (20 taxa).The distribution of phytogeographic elements are as fallows: Irano-Turanian 375 taxa (30,8%), Mediterranean 92 taxa (7,5%), Euro- Siberian 80 taxa (6,5%) and others 669 taxa (55%). Endemism rate of the area is 16,9% (189 taxa) and 12 endemic taxa are peculiar to Mount Erciyes Only species known as Hieracium argaeum and Asyneuma trichostegium have collected twice. 235 taxa are new records for the square B5.
