Özet
Japon bıldırcınlarında bağlantı dengesizliğinin döl verimine ait genetik variyans unsurlarına etkisinin tahmin edilmesi, çalışmanın amacını oluşturmuştur. Söz konusu variyans unsurlarının tahmini, döl verimine ait; yumurta verimi, döllülük oranı, kuluçka randımanı, çıkış gücü, nisbi döl verimi ve 5. hafta nisbi döl verimi gibi özelliklerde, öz-üvey kardeş familyaların yardımı ile yapılamamıştır. Buna karşılık, ana-döl benzerliğinden (ana-döl regresyonundan) yararlanılarak yapılmıştır. Yumurta verimi, döllülük oranı ve kuluçka randımanı gibi döl verimi ölçülerinin genetik varyans unsurları üzerine bağlantı dengesizliğinin etkisinin hesaplanamamasına karşılık, çıkış gücü, nisbi döl verimi ve 5. hafta nisbi döl verimi gibi özelliklerin eklemeli genetik varyansları üzerinde, klasik kantitatif genetik teorilerini esas alan ıslah metodlarının aksine, oldukça önemli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bulunan bu sonuçlara göre, hayvan ıslahında döl verimi özellikleri üzerine bağlantı dengesizliğinin etkili olduğu ve bunun özellikle yumurta tavukçuluğunda ihmal edilmemesi gerektiği ortaya çıkmaktadır. The purpose of the study is to estimate the effect of linkage disequilibrium on the genetic variance components of the measure traits of reproductiveness in Japanese quails. Half and full sib analysis could not be used to get this estimations for the hatching egg numbers, the ratio of fertilized eggs, hatchability, relative number of hatches and relative number of offsprings surviving up to 5 week, because of the insufficient number of families. Instead, additive genetic variance for hatchability, the relative number of offspring and the relative number of offspring surviving up to 5 week could be estimated by using mother-offspring relationships. The result was that the effect of linkage disequilibrium on the addetive genetic variance was important on the contrary to classic theories of quantitative genetics. This result should be taken into account especially in planning the starategies for improving egg-production in chickens.
