Özet
ÖZET Dört bölümden oluşan bu çalışmada; değişik türden fonksiyonlar sınıfı için Banach uzaylarında sabit nokta teoremleri incelenmiş, değişik iterasyon yöntemleri ile dönüşümlerin sabit noktalan arasındaki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır. Birinci bölümünde, sabit nokta tanımı, tarihsel gelişimi ve çalışmanın amacı özetlenmiştir. İkinci bölümünde, S. Ishikawa tarafından verilen yeni bir iterasyon tanımı ve bazı dönüşümlerin sabit nokta teoremleri incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümünde, hatalarla Ishikawa ve Mann iterasyon yöntemi ile elde edilen sabit nokta teoremleri verilmiş ve bunlarla ilgili bazı sonuçlar belirtilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise, iki veya daha fazla dönüşümlerle kurulan iterasyon yöntemleri ve ortak sabit nokta teoremleri verilmiştir.

SUMMARY In this study which consists of four chapters; fixed point theorems were examined in Banach spaces for different sorts of functions classes, the relations between different iteration methods and mappings' fixed points were researched. In the first chapter, definition of the fixed point, a brief historical background and aim of the study were summarized. In the second chapter, a new iteration method given by Ishikawa and some of the mappings' fixed point theorems were examined. In the third chapter, fixed point theorems which were obtained by Ishikawa and Mann iteration methods with error members were provided and some conclusions related with this subjects were determined. In the fourth chapter, iteration methods were set up by two or more mappings and common fixed point theorems were examined.
