Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma dayalı fen öğretiminin öğrencilerin akademik başarısına ve hatırlama düzeylerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Evrenini Konya il merkezinde bulunan ilköğretim okulları; örneklemini, Selçuklu ilçesi Mareşal Mustafa Kemal ilköğretim Okulu'nun 8. Sınıfları oluşturmuştur. Çalışma, öntest- sontest, bir deney- bir kontrol deneme modeline göre yürütülmüştür.Araştırmada, 8. sınıflarda 6 hafta süreyle okutulan; ?Canlılar İçin Madde Ve Enerji? ünitesi anlatılmıştır. Bu ünite, kontrol grubuna geleneksel anlatım yöntemiyle anlatılırken, deney grubuna, yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma göre hazırlamış materyaller kullanılarak anlatılmıştır. Öğrencilerin başarı düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde güvenirlik katsayısı ?= 0.911 olan ve 25 sorudan oluşan testten yararlanılmıştır.Araştırmada; Öğrencilerin deneme sonundaki başarı düzeyi ve ders anlatımının bitmesinden 3 ay sonra uygulanan hatırlama testinden aldıkları puanlar, bağımlı değişken olarak ele alınmıştır. Başarı düzeyini belirlemek amacıyla uygulanan testlere ait veriler, SPSS paket programından yararlanılarak, bağımsız gruplar t-testi analiz modeliyle değerlendirilmiştir.Araştırma sonunda, yapılandırmacı yaklaşım ve geleneksel yöntem arasında istatistikî ölçüde önemli bir farka rastlanmıştır (P

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of science teaching based on constructivist theory of the academic success of the student and the levels of anamnesis. The universe of this study is the Primary Schools which exist in Konya City Center and the sampling of it is the 8th classes of Mareşal Mustafa Kemal Primary school which exist in Selçuklu district. This study was executed according to the prior test- last test, one experiment and one control test model.In this research; the unit named as ?Matter Energy for Living Things? was presented to the 8th class for 6 weeks was described. This unit was presented to the control group with traditional method whereas, to the test group, with using education material that is prepared as a constructivist theory.To determine the success levels of the students, a test with reliability coefficient of ?= 0.911 and 25 questions were used respectively.In the present research, grades from success level test after the test period and grades from anamnesis test applied 3 months after the lesson presentation were taken as dependent variables. The data that belong to the applied tests to determine the success level of this research were evaluated making use of SPSS package programme by independent groups t-test analysis model.At the end of the research, meaningful difference between constructivist approach and traditional methot was observed (P
