Özet

Bu tez, Türkiye'nin jeopolitik öneminden kaynaklanan terör faaliyetlerinin ortaya çıkısını, kimler tarafından nasıl desteklendigini, günümüzde faaliyet gösteren PKK Bölücü Terör Örgütünün kurulusunu, amacını, stratejisini, faaliyetlerini ve aldıgı destekleri ortaya koyup, analiz etmeye çalısmaktadır. Ayrıca, PKK Terör Örgütü bir sosyal hareket olarak ele alınmıstır. Çalısma, Kürtçülük faaliyetlerinin ortaya çıktıgı 19. yy.'dan, tezin yazılma tarihi olan 2007 yılının baslarına kadar geçen süreyi kapsamaktadır. Arastırmada kullanılan bilgi ve veriler temel olarak mevcut literatür ve terör örgütü ile ilgili olumlu ve olumsuz yayın yapan web sayfaları ve basın-yayın organlarına dayanmaktadır. Tezin iki temel sorusu vardır. Birincisi, kürtçülük faaliyetleri olarak adlandırılan bu olaylar nasıl ve neden ortaya çıkmıstır ve ikincisi PKK hareketi kuramsal açıdan nasıl açıklanabilir? PKK hareketini tanımlayabilmek için, hareketin nasıl ortaya çıktıgı ve gelistigi, hangi toplumsal aktörleri barındırdıgı ve ne tür taleplerin ileri sürüldügü, politik perspektiflerin ve önerilen alternatiflerin neler oldugu, sosyal tabanın kimlerden olustugu ve nasıl örgütlendikleri arastırılmıstır. Yapılan arastırma sonucunda, PKK hareketinin terörü içeren illegal bir hareket oldugu öne sürülmüstür. PKK hareketi, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti'nin toprak bütünlügünü bozmaya çalısan, yurt dısı destekli bir terör hareketidir. Bu hareketin olusması ve faaliyet göstermesindeki en büyük etken Türkiye'nin bulundugu cografya itibariyle sahip oldugu jeopolitik konumdur. PKK hareketi diger sosyal hareketler gibi sınıf mücadelesi içermediginden bir sınıf hareketi degildir. Hareketin içerisinde bulunan aktörler, egitim seviyesi düsük, kandırılmıs, hareketin amacının farkında olmayan fertlerden olusmustur. Hareketin bu özgün özelligi, onu teorik yaklasımların ele aldıgı sosyal hareket biçimlerinden ayırmaktadır. ANAHTAR KELMELER: Kürtçülük, PKK, Sosyal Hareket, Jeopolitik.

This thesis analysis and puts forward the origination of terror activities resulting from the geopolitical importance of Turkey, how and by whom they are supported, the establishment of the PKK Separatist Terror Organization, its aim, strategies, activities and the supports that it receives. Besides, PKK Terror Organization is dealt as a social movement. This work covers the origination of Kurdish-related activities from the 19th century to the beginning of the year 2007 in which this thesis was written. Information and data, used in this research, are based on the present literature, web sites that make publications in favor of and against the PKK, and media and press. Thesis has two main questions. First, how and why the activities, which are known as Kurdish-related activities, came out and second, how can these PKK movements be explained from theoretical point of view. To define the PKK movement the followings are scrutinized; how this movement came out and developed, which social actors it shelters, and what types of demands are brought forward, what are the political perspectives and proposed alternatives, from whom the social base is formed and how they are organized. As a result of this research, PKK movements is put forward as an illegal movement that includes terror. PKK movement which tries to demolish the Territorial Unity of Turkey is a terror movement supported by foreign organizations. The most important factor that forms the PKK and its activities is the geopolitical position in which Turkey is geographically located. PKK movement is unlike the other social movements not a struggle for social class movements as it does not contain any class. The actors in this movement are consist of people with low educational standards, deceived and not aware of the aim of the movement they are in. This essential characteristic of the movement differs it from the other social movement types which are taken up by the theoretical approaches.
