Özet
49 ÖZET Bu çalışmada, gruplarda kompozisyon serileri ile ilgili, ilgimizi çeken bazı problemlerin çözümleri verilmiştir. Her bölümde problemlerin çözümünden önce gerekli olacağı düşünülen genel bilgiler verilmiştir. I Bölümde, kompozisyon serileri ile ilgili temel kavramlara yer verilmiştir. II. Bölümde, eşdeğer seriler, serilerin kompozisyon uzunluğu, alt normal seriler ve ilgili problemler çözülmüştür. III. Bölümde, minimal ve maksimal alt gruplarla ilgili problemler çözülmüştür. IV. Bölümde, çözülebilir gruplar, nilpotent gruplar ve türetilmiş gruplar ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş ve bu konularla ilgili problemler çözülmüştür.

50 SUMMARY In this thesis certain problems im compositions series of groups are considered and their solutions are given. In each section, basic results, necessary for the solutions of the problems, are first given. In section 1, definition and basic properties of compositions series of groups are given. In section 2, equivalent series, composition lenght, subnormal series and related problems are given. In section 3, maximal normal subgroups, minimal normal subgroups and related problems are given. In section 4, solvable groups, nilpotent groups, derived groups and related problems are given.
