Özet

Bu araştırma, İlköğretim okulu öğrencilerinin katılım hakkını kullanmadurumlarına ilişkin sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüş ve önerilerini saptamayıamaçlamaktadır. Tarama modelindeki araştırmanın evrenini Ankara BüyükşehirBelediyesi sınırları içerisinde bulunan 542 resmi ilköğretim okulunda görevli 9359sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma örnekleminde 358 sınıf öğretmenibulunmaktadır.Verilerin toplanması aşamasında öğrencilerin katılımına ilişkin alanyazıntaranmış, ilgili kavramlar incelenmiş ve bunlar birer soru ifadesine dönüştürülerekanket maddeleri oluşturulmuştur. Anket maddeleri oluşturulurken uzmangörüşüne başvurulmuştur.Elde edilen veriler SPSS programında çözümlenmiştir. Kamu ilköğretimokullarında görevli sınıf öğretmenlerinin kişisel bilgilerinin çözümlenmesi içinyüzde ve frekans, katılım hakkının kullanımı ve bu hakkın kullanımının engelleriile ilgili görüşler ile ilgili yanıtların aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapmalarıhesaplanmıştır. Katılım hakkının kullanımı ve engellerine ilişkin görüşlerincinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediği t-testi ile, yaş, meslekikıdem, sınıf mevcudu, okul mevcudu ve okulun bulunduğu sosyo-ekonomikkültürelçevreye göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediği tek yönlü varyansanalizi (ANOVA) ile sınanmıştır.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre ilköğretim okulu öğrencilerinin katılım hakkınıkullanma boyutuna ilişkin sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinde mesleki kıdem, sınıfmevcudu, okul mevcudu ve okulun bulunduğu sosyo-ekonomik-kültürel-çevredeğişkenlerine göre farklılık bulunmaktadır. Katılım hakkını kullanımınınengellerine ilişkin boyutunda ise öğretmenlerin görüşlerinde okul mevcudu veokulun bulunduğu sosyo-ekonomik-kültürel çevre değişkenlerine göre farklılıkbulunmaktadır. Okul mevcudu ortalama bir sayıya sahipse öğrenciler katılımhakkını daha fazla kullanmaktadırlar. Ayrıca üst sosyo-ekonomik-kültürel çevredebulunan okullardaki öğrenciler de katılım hakkını daha fazla kullanmaktadırlar.

This research aimed to find out the opinions and the suggestions ofprimary school teachers related to the usage of the participation rights of primaryschool students.This is a descriptive survey and the reasearch population consisted of9359 primary school teachers who were working in 542 state run basic educationschools in the area of Metropolitan Municipality of Ankara (Altındağ, Mamak,Çankaya, Keçiören, Yenimahalle, Etimesgut, Gölbaşı and Sincan). Researchsample composed of 358 primary school teachers.At the phase of gathering data, literature, related to student participation,has been reviewed, related aspects have been examined and questionnaireitems have been constituted by transforming these reviews into questionsentences. While questionnaire items were being constituted, experts? opinionshave been called upon.When analysing the data, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS) was used. With regard to personal information of primary school teachersfrequencies and percent were given. The arithmetic mean and standart deviationwas found related to the usage of participation rights and the handicaps of usingthe participation rights. In order to find out whether or not the opinions ofprimaryschool teachers related to the using the paricipation rights and the handicaps ofusing the participation rights differs in terms of their sex, the t-test was used. TheVariance analysis (ANOVA) was used in order to find out whether or not theopinions of primary school teachers related to paricipation rights and it?shandicaps differs in terms of their age, professional experience and the size ofthe class and the school and the social-economic-culturel environment of theschool in which they work currently.According to the results of the research, the opinions of the the primaryteachers related to the usage of the participation rights of the primary schoolstudents differ in terms of their, the size of the class, the size of the school andsocial-economic-culturel environment of the school. The opinions of the primaryschool teachers related to the handicaps of using the participation rights of theprimary school students differ in terms of the size of the school and the socialeconomic-cultural environment of the school. If the size of the school is at theaverage the students can more use the participation rights than the others. Also,the students who are studying at the high social-economic-culturel schools canmore use participation rights than the others.
