Özet
“Araştırma ve Uygulamalar Sürecinde Kavramsal Sezinletmeler”adlı bu çalışma üç bölümde ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölüm, kavramsallıkla ilgili bazı tanımlamalar ve sanatta kavram geliştirme ile ilgili değerlendirmelerden oluşur. Bazı sanatçılara göre,“nesne”ve“düşünce”sözcükleri, kavramsallığın asıl belirleyici unsurları gibi gösterilmiştir. Buradan hareketle“kavramsal”olmak için“düşünsel”olmak gerektiği, içinde nesne olan bir anlatımın ise kavramsl olamiyacağı sonucu bir sav olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Aynı bölümde sanatta kavram geliştirme üzerinde durularak; yaratma sürecinin bir tür problem çözmek olduğu, ancak hangi alanda olursa olsun çözülmek durumunda olunan problemlerin sonuçta biçimle ilgili olacağı düşüncesi irdelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde kavram sanatçılığı, sanat tarihsel bir gelişim süreci içinde örneklerle ortaya koyulmuştur. Cezanne ile ortaya çıkan“düşünme”ve“kavramlaştırma”mantığı doğayı“görme”ye dayalı mantıkla yer değiştirmiş ve beraberinde yeni kural ve yöntemleri getirmiştir. Bu yenilikler doğrultusunda nesneden kaçmak adına kendi vücutlarını kullanan sanatçıların sonuçta minimal değerde bir sanat nesnesine dönüştükleri görülür. Ve yine eserin nesnesizleştirilmesinde en ileriye gitmiş sanatçıların,“düşünce”nin satışı sırasında bir kontrata attıkları imzanın minimal bir sanat eseri olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Buradan ise kavramsal olanın nesneden uzak olması gerektiğini savunan bazı sanatçıların, kendileri için çıkış noktası olan minimalizme yavaş yavaş geri döndükleri görülür. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise; yapılan çabşmalar birinci ve ikinci bölümde elde edilen veriler ışığında sınanarak ortaya koyulmuştur. Bir bütün olarak bu çalışmada, kavramsal sanatın başlıbaşına sımflandınlabilmesinin zorluklan üzerinde durulmuş ve nesne üretmeye karşı gibigörünen kavramsal sanatın aslında nesneden vazgeçemediği gerçeği değişik bulgularla elde edilmiştir. Yapılan uygulamalarda malzeme ve teknik sınırlaması gözetilmeksizin, nesneden vazgeçmeden kavramsal anlatım denemeleri yapılmıştır. Bir başka deyişle görsel ve düşünsel olan arasındaki kesin ve net olmayan kavramsal ilişkilerin altı çizilerek biraz daha belirgin hale getirilmek istenmiştir. Sonuçta; ortaya koyulan çalışmalarda seçilen veya oluşturulan nesneler (veya biçimler) arasında işlevsel anlamlarından sıyrılarak, başka düşünsel-kavramsal etkilerin oluştuğu izlenimi edinilmiştir.

This study, entitled“Conceptual Anticipations in the Process of Research and Applications”has been presented in three chapters. The first chapter deals with certain terminology related with conceptualization and the speculations on the concept developing process in art. According to certain artists, the terms“object”and“idea”are supposed to be the main defining factors of conceptualization. Moving from this point they reach at the finding that in order to be“conceptual”there needs to be“idetional”and a design with an object in it cannot be conceptual. Within the same chapter concept developing process in art has been touched upon with supporting points such as creating process as a problem solving process and problems waiting to be solved, in almost all disciplines, being problems actually related with form. The second chapter dwells upon and exemplifies the conceptual art within a developmental art historical percpective. The logic of“thinking”and“conceptualizing”brought about with Cezanne had taken the place of the former logic of observing the nature and thus had given rise to the use of new criteria and techniques. Within the light of these new developments it has been observed that the artists using their bodies in an effort to avoid the object cannot help turning into an art object of minimal value in the end. Likewise, the artist who have moved farthest with respect to the de- objectification of the work of art have proved to bring about minimally valned works by putting their signature on a contract providing the trade of an“idea”. The point above takes one to the observation that the artists who have long advocated the big gap between the conceptual and the object seem to go back, slow by slow, to minimalism, which is the only way out for them. In the third, and the last chapter, the research that has been carried out so far has been testified and put forth within the light of the data gathered in the first and the second chapters. The study, as a whole, speculates on the difficulties of classifying conceptual art as a field with its own right; and concludes with the help of a variety of data that the conceptual art, seemingly contradictory with the process of object design, does not actually neglect the object itself. Throughout the applications, the conceptual expression without neglecting the object has been tried on using the available materials and technology to their full extent. In other words, the conceptual links between the visual and the conceptual, which remain obligue and undefined, have been underlined with effort to lessen the shade of obligueness on them. To conclude; there has found to be further cognitive-conceptual impressions free from the functional interpretations among the objects (or the forms) that have been chosen or designed in the course of the aplications done in this study.
