Dr. Onur A. , Hacettepe Üniversitesi Hastanelerinde granülomatöz mastit tanısı ile tedavi edilen hastaların retrospektif değerlendirilmesi ve skorlama modeli oluşturulması, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Genel Cerrahi Uzmanlık Tezi, Ankara, 2013. Granülomatöz mastit, memenin idiyopatik, inflamatuar ve benign bir hastalığıdır. Hastalığın nadir görülmesi etyolojisinin tam olarak aydınlatılamamasına yol açmaktadır. Literatür taramalarında geniş hasta sayısı ile değerlendirme yapılamadığı görülmüştür. Hacettepe Üniversitesi arşivlerinde tanı alan 81 hastanın değerlendirilmesi ile hastalığa neden olan etkenlerin araştırılması planlanmaktadır. Hastaların değerlendirilmesinde arşiv dosyaları retrospektif olarak taranarak yaş, cinsiyet, gebelik sayısı, emzirme süresi, yandaş hastalık, radyolojik olarak tespit edilen kitle boyutları ve rekürrens göstermesi değerlendirildi. Patoloji arşivinden hastaların preparatları çıkartılarak rekürrens gösteren ve göstermeyen olgular karşılaştırıldı, tedavi yöntemlerin etkinliği değerlendirildi. Olgular arasındaki lenfosit sayısı, nötrofil sayısı, mikroapse oluşumu ve histiyosit sayıları değerlendirilerek rekürrense etkileri karşılaştırıldı. Rekürrens gösteren 12 hasta ile göstermeyen 69 hasta arasında bakılan parametrelerde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilemedi.

Dr. Onur A., M.D., Retrospective evaluation of patients treated at Hacettepe University Hospital with the diagnosis of granulomatous mastitis and establishment of a scoring model, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, General Surgery Dissertation, Ankara, 2013. Granulomatous mastitis is an idiopathic, inflammatory and benign disease of the breast. Since the disease is rarely seen, its etiology remains somewhat obscure. In the literature searches, it was observed that evaluations could not be made with a vast number of patients. It is planned that the factors causing the disease will be explored through the evaluation of 81 patients with the relevant diagnosis in the archives of Hacettepe University. During the evaluation of patients, archived files were retrospectively scanned, and age, sex, number of pregnancies, duration of breastfeeding, co-morbid disease, sizes and recurrence of the mass that is radiologically detected were evaluated. Patients? preparations were retrieved from the pathology archive, cases with and without recurrence were compared and the effectiveness of the treatment methods was evaluated. Lymphocyte counts, neutrophil counts, micro-abscess formation and histiocyte counts among the cases were evaluated, and the effects of the same on recurrence were compared. No statistically-significant difference was observed in the parameters checked between 12 patients with recurrence and 69 patients without recurrence.
