Özet
ÖZET En önemli makina elemanlarından olan alın dişli çarkların, imalat maliyeti bakımından optimizasyonu gayesiyle yapılan bu çalışmada, aynı işletme şartlarında çalışan dişli çiftleri ele alınmıştır. Dişli çiftlerinin konstrüksiyonu, maliyet faktörü göz önüne alınarak, tasarlanmasından çizimine kadar bütün adımları komputer yardımıyla yapılmıştır. Bu maksatla Borland C + + Lisanıyla yazılmış, AutoCAD ADS programı hazırlanmıştır. Bu program komputer yardımıyla proses planlama (CAPP) yaparak, teorik imalat sürelerini hesaplar ve konstrüktöre gerçeğe en yakın parça maliyet tahminleri yaparak dişlileri mukayese etme imkanı verir. Transmission of energy has a great importance in the mechanical engineering applications. Spur gears are widely used in the transmission. In the design of spur gears, bending stress and contact stress constraints are taken into consideration. In addition to this, production costs are extremely important factor in design. Today the technology exists to automatically perform the design. In this study, spur gears will be designed using a computer aided design (CAD) system. Once the design has been finalized, production plans and technical drawing of gears will be created. Preparation of production plans or process planning has been defined as“The subsystem responsible for the conversion of design data to work instruction”. There are four methods of process planning. These are : a). Manual Process Planning b).Full Automated Process Planning c). Graphic-interactive Process Planning d). Partially Automated Process Planning Planning for production for many parts has become the most time-consuming required in manufacturing. About 80% of the time, desing engineering is repetitive rather than creative, with engineers doing calculations, catalog searches, and documentation. Therefore process planning should be done computer aided (CAPP). The spur gears, designed for the same conditions are selected to search. After preparation of production plans, these are compared according to the production time and cost estimate. XILike the standard C libraries, the ADS environment is defined by library and header files. The DMS program consist of four functional parts. These are : a). Data Bank b). Calculation Module c). Process Planning Module d). Technical Drawing Module Data Bank plays an important role in DMS program. In this module there are standards and norms, technical data and the data peculier to firm. In the calculation Module, the geometric values of gears are determined. In the first part of the study, it is explained the importance of the precalculation of the production costs. In the second part, the computer aided design (CAD), and engineering (CAE), advantages, AutoCAD programm and its equipment are summarized. In the third part, approaches on the optimisation of the spur gears and the Cost Information System for the spur gears (DMS) with the main functional modules are examined. From part four to seven, the functional modules are fully described. In part eight, the use of the DMS program and its menus are explained. In this part some examples are given and reasons are criticized with reference to a report about the production cost of spur gears.
