SUMMARY FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDREN VALUATION OF OBSTACLE PERCEPTION SKILL. The aim of investigation is to determine the level of obstacle perception of visually impaired children and to fix this level. If there is significant difference or not according to some variable (for ex: obstacle distance, obstacle range). 48 visually impaired children who are the subject of investigation includes 24 blind and 24 medium visioned children. These children attend“School For Blind Children”and their ages are variable betweet 11 and 18. In order to collect data, two tools were used in this investigation.Investigation Form, to learn various information about the children, Obstacle Perception Valuation Tool to determine the obstacle perception is progressed by the investigator. When the data were analised in the investigation the level of obstacle perception; a.) For the blind children ; in obstacle distance, obstacle range and distance range interaction, b.) For medium visioned children it's attached that there is significant difference in obstacle range and group distance interaction, a.) For the blind children; in group range interaction, group distance interaction, b.) For medium visioned children it's fixed that there is no significant difference in obstacle distance and group range interaction. 82
