In my ILP, the main issue that I will be discussing is the work related injuries and deaths that has been arising in Turkey. Just recently in 2012 the government has passed a new law to all employers and employees about the importance of Occupational Health and Safety. However, in order to make this effective, more effort is needed to be put in order to inform all workers and employers across the country about proper Health and Safety system. From my researches, I have examined and came to a conclusion that not enough has been done for the people to protect their lives. This can be with lack of equipment, training, education, or experience. I plan to build a business that can reach to every job sector and every person in every class regardless of how small their job is in every state in the country. My point is to not have anybody forgotten and not leave any employee or employer uneducated about Occupational Health and Safety. One way I will successfully do this is by giving seminars to all employees and employers. Everyone who works in this sector or a similar one have the right to know that they are able to protect their lives in any condition in their work time and area. With many other tactics, I plan to reach out to everyone that are not yet aware of the Occupational Health and Safety System.
