Myers Briggs Type Indicator translation, reliability and validity study is conducted in this project. Myers Briggs Type Indicator AV is translated by five bilingual psychologically oriented volunteers. The received translations for each item wer rexamined and the most suitable items formed the Turkish version of Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI-T). English form of the indicator was applied to the senior class students of the English education department. Two weeks later the Turkish form was again given to the same group. Each item and total group scores were correlated. Rusults were satisfactory enough to be convienced about the Turkish version. Test and re-test results were computed for reliability correlations. MBTI-T was given to an adult group with three weeks interval. For inter consistency reliability estimations, split -half reliability is also calculated. Item analysis indicator was calculated by the tetracolic correlations. For validity MBTI continous scores were correlated with Adjective List (ACL) State Trait Anxiety Scale and with MMPI items. The results of the correlations were discussed with the original studieds.
