Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, beden eğitimi ve spor bölümlerindeki öğrencilerin problem çözme ve karar verme stillerinin bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ve lisans ve yüksek lisans öğrencilerinin problem çözme ve karar verme stilleri arasında farklılık olup olmadığının belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, kümeleme örnekleme ve rastgele örnekleme yöntemleriyle belirlenen, 2017–2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Türkiye'nin 7 coğrafi bölgesinden toplam 14 üniversitenin oluşturduğu beden eğitimi ve spor bölümlerinde öğrenim gören lisans ve yüksek lisans öğrencilerinden 1491 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada,“Karar Verme Stilleri Ölçeği”,“Sosyal Problem Çözme Kısa Formu”ve“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”kullanılmıştır. Çalışma bulgularına göre, yüksek lisans öğrencilerinin problem çözme ve karar verme stilleri, lisans eğitimi alanlara göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yüksektir (p < 0,05). Problem çözme ölçeğinin alt boyutları ile katılımcıların cinsiyetleri arasında anlamlı fark bulunamamıştır. Problem çözme ve karar verme stilleri ölçeklerinin alt boyutları ile diğer tüm değişkenler arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur (p < 0,05). Sonuç olarak, beden eğitimi bölümlerindeki yüksek lisans öğrencilerinin aldıkları eğitimlerden, daha tecrübeli olmalarından, sosyal ve akademik anlamda kendilerini geliştirme çabalarından dolayı, problem çözme ve karar verme stilleri, lisans eğtimi alan öğrencilere göre yüksektir.

The aim of this study is to examine the problem solving and decision making styles of the students in physical education and sports departments in terms of some variables. To determine whether there is any difference between the problem solving and decision making styles of undergraduate and graduate students. The study sample, clustering as determined by sampling and random sampling method, the 2017-2018 academic year in Turkey 7 studying in a total of 14 university physical education and sports department formed the geographic area licenses and constitutes graduate students. 1491 voluntary undergraduate and graduate students in the 18-36 age group participated in the study. Within the scope of this research, survey method was used as data collection tool.“Decision Making Styles Scale”,“Social Problem Solving Short Form”and“Personal Information Form”was used in the study. According to the study findings, the problem solving and decision-making styles of graduate students are significantly higher than those of undergraduate students (p < 0,05). There wasn't significant difference between the subscales of the problem solving scale and the gender of the participants. Significant differences were found between the sub-dimensions of problem solving and decision-making scales and all other variables (p < 0,05). As a result, the problem solving and decision-making styles of the graduate students in physical education departments are higher than the students who have undergraduate education due to their education, more experience, and their efforts to improve themselves in social and academic sense.
