Özet

Amaç: Bu araştırma üniversite son sınıf öğrencilerinin çocuk sahibi olma isteğini etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Aralık 2018–Şubat 2019 tarihleri arasında yapılan analitik bir araştırmadır. Araştırma, Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Meşelik ve Bademlik Yerleşkesi'nde öğrenim gören ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 712 son sınıf öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler literatür bilgisi ve uzman görüşü doğrultusunda hazırlanan 47 soruluk veri toplama formu ile yüz yüze görüşme tekniği ile araştırmacı tarafından toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi IBM SPSS Statistics 23 (Statistical Package fort he Social Sciences) paket programı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin %48,9'unun kadın, %94,1'inin 25 yaş ve altı olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin %79,5'inin çekirdek aileye sahip, % 63,2'sinin yaşamında en uzun süre il merkezinde yaşamış, annelerin %56,4'ünün eğitim durumunun ilköğretim ve altı, babaların %62,8'inin lise ve üzeri olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin %48,9'unun 2 kardeşe sahip olduğu ve %77,9'unun gelecekte çocuk sahibi olmak istediği saptanmıştır. Öğrenciler için ideal çocuk sayısı %61,8 oranında 2 çocuk, ilk kez çocuk sahibi olmak için ideal yaş aralığı %69,7 oranında 25-29 yaş arası olarak belirlenmiştir. Sadece çocuk sahibi olmak için evlenme fikrini kabul eden öğrencilerin oranı %13,5 olarak saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin çocuk sahibi olmayı isteme nedenleri ile cinsiyet, aile tipi, en uzun süre yaşadıkları yer arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır (p

Aim: This research was conducted to determine the reasons why university senior students want to have children. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was carried out in Eskişehir Osmangazi University between December 2018 and February 2019. The research was conducted with 712 senior students who were educated at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Medicine and Bademlik campus and who agreed to participate in the research. The data were collected with a data collection form of 47 questions prepared in accordance with the knowledge of literature and expert opinion and face to face interview technique. Descriptive statistics were made by using SPSS 23.0 program in evaluating the data. Results: It was determined that 48,9% of the students were female, 94,1% were 25 years and younger. 79,5% of the students were in the core family, 63,2% lived in the city center for the longest time in life, the education of the 56,4% of mothers, elementary and lower, and 62,8% of the education status of the fathers were high school and above has been identified. It was determined that 48,9% of students had 2 siblings and 77,9% wanted to have children in the future. The ideal number of children for students ratio 61.8% is 2 children, the ideal age range for the first time to have a child is determined to be between 25-29 years of age 69,7% rate.
