Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, II. Meşrutiyet yıllarında yayımlanan Çocuk Duygusu ve Çocuk Dünyası dergilerinde yer verilen hikâye ve masalların barındırdığı değerlerin eğitim açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırma kapsamında birincil kaynak olarak II. Meşrutiyet yıllarında en uzun ömürlü ve farklı dünya görüşlere sahip iki adet çocuk dergisi incelendi. Tarihsel belge niteliğindeki bu dergilerin incelenmesinde tarihsel araştırma ve doküman taranması modeli kullanıldı. Elde edilen veriler, Erol Güngör'ün değerler sınıflaması esas alınarak tasnif edildi ve değerlendirildi. Çeşitli kütüphanelerden toparlanan birincil kaynaklar incelendi, araştırma kapsamında değerlendirilebilecek veriler tasnif ve analiz edildi. Araştırma konusu dergilerde yer verilen hikâyelerde hangi değerlerin öne çıkarıldığı tespit edildi. İşlenen değerlerle yetiştirilmek istenen insan tipinin yeterlilikleri belirlenmeye çalışıldı. Bu niteliklerin günümüz insan yetiştirme sisteminde yer alan hedeflerle uyumu araştırıldı.. Her iki dergide de, değerlendirmede esas alınan tasnifteki değerlerin çoğuna ilişkin içeriğe rastlandı. En sık karşılaşılan değerin başında“sosyal”ve“ahlaki”değerler“ gelmektedir. Hikâyelerde yoğun bir şekilde işlenen değerlerin ağırlığını sosyal değerler teşkil eder. Bunların içinde vatan sevgisi ön plana çıkarılmıştır. Bilimsel değerlerin de kısmen önemsendiği görülür. Dergilerde en zayıf kalmış değerler alanının ”estetik“ ve ”dini" değerler olduğu söylenebilir. Elde edilen veriler ayrıca Türkiye Yeterlilikler Çerçevesi kapsamında değerlendirildi. Çocuk dergilerinin hedeflediği insan tipiyle bu yeterlik çerçevesinin önemli oranda uyuştuğu görüldü. Günümüzde değerler eğitimi yeniden ön plana çıktı ve önem kazandı. Bu araştırma geçmişten günümüze değerlerin gelişimini ve değişimini incelemesi açısından önemlidir. Bu alanda yapılan az sayıda çalışmadan biri olması yönüyle de özgün bir çalışmadır.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the values contained in the stories and tales in the magazines of Çocuk Duygusu and Çocuk Dünyası, which were published in the II. Constitutional Period, in terms of education. As the primary sources of the research, the study examined two children's magazines of the 2nd Constitutional Period, which were the longest lasting magazines with different world views. Because these magazines are historical documents, a historical research and document survey model was used in the analysis of these magazines. The data obtained were classified and evaluated based on the values classification method created by Erol Güngör. The primary sources collected from various libraries were examined, and the data that could be evaluated within the scope of the research were sorted and analyzed. The values that were highlighted in the stories in these magazines were determined. The projected qualifications of the human type to be raised with the values highlighted in these stories were determined. The compatibility of these qualifications with the goals of today's educational system was examined. It was found that most of the values specified in the values classification of Güngör were present in both magazines. Social and moral values were found to be the most common values. Social values were intensely covered in the magazines. Of these values, patriotism was given prominence. Scientific values were also slightly heeded. It can be said that“aesthetic”and“religious”values were the rarest values in magazines. The obtained data were also evaluated in terms of Turkish Qualifications Framework. It was found that the human type that these children's magazines targeted match considerably with the Turkish Qualifications Framework. Nowadays, values education has come into prominence. This study is important in terms of the fact that it examines the development and change of values from the past to the present. It is a unique study in terms of being one of the few studies in this field.
