Özet
Son zamanlarda sıkça karşılaşılan iş kazası haberleri ile birlikte, gerek toplumun gerekse devletin yetkili mercilerinin konuya olan ilgisi ve dikkati artmıştır. İş kazalarındaki artış, gözleri bu kazaların ortaya çıkma nedenlerine çevirmiş ve dolayısıyla da kazaların engellenmesi asıl hedef haline gelmiştir. Kazaların tamamen ortadan kaldırılması mümkün olmasa da bu kazalardan en az kayıpla kurtulmak, birtakım önlemler alındığında mümkün olabilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda iş güvenliği, Türkiye'de yükselen sanayinin can damarlarından biri olmaya başlamıştır. İş görenlerin yaşam devamlılığı, istihdamın bekası ve işletmelerin uzun ömürlülüğünü sağlamanın yegane yolu çalışanı korumaktan geçmektedir. Çalışanların farklı tehlikeler ile mücadele ettiği ve bu mücadelelerinde yalnız olmadıklarını ispatlamaya çalışan yasa koyucu, çalışanın güvenli bir çalışma ortamında çalışmasını sürdürmesi için tüm önlemleri almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bu doğrultuda alınan önlemlerin, iş görenler açısından algılanıp algılanmadığı, algı düzeyi ve uygulamada ne kadar işlerlik kazandığını ölçmektir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde; İş güvenliği kavramının ve kişisel koruyucu donanımların teorik bilgilerine değinilmekte, iş güvenliğinin günümüze dek olan yolculuğundan bahsedilmektedir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde; kullanılan kişisel koruyucu donanımların açıklamaları, kullanım biçimleri, kullanıldıkları alanlar ve bu donanımların seçiminde dikkat edilmesi gereken hususlar, detaylı şekilde anlatılmaktadır. Çalışmanın son kısmında; Zonguldak şehrinin X firmasında büyük ölçekli bir firma seçilerek araştırma yapılmış ve bazı istatistiksel sonuçlar aracılığı ile çalışma biçimlendirilmiştir. Bu sayede firma çalışanlarının kişisel koruyucu donanım kullanma sıklıkları, bu sıklıkların kişiden kişiye değişmesindeki etkenler saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışanlar üzerinde araştırma kapsamında anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesi ve analizlerin yapılması için SPSS 22 programı kullanılmıştır. Program sayesinde güvenilirlik derecesi, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma hesapları yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, katılımcıların cevapları açıklayıcı faktör analizi ve güvenilirlik analizi sonucunda oluşturulmuş ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile tüm yollar anlamlı bulunmuştur. Araştırmada bağımlı değişken ya da açıklanmaya çalışılan faktör değişken, iş görenlerin kaza önleme tutum faktörü de doğrulanmaya çalışılmıştır. İş görenlerin tutumlarının belirlenmesine yönelik ölçekler doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile doğrulandıktan sonra güvenilirlik analizi yapılarak ölçeklere son hali verilmiştir. Araştırmaya yönelik yapısal modelde oluşturulan 6 hipotezden 5 hipotez desteklenmiş sadece bir hipotez anlamlı bulunmamıştır.

With the recent news about occupational accidents, the interest and attention of the competent authorities of both society and the state has increased. The increase in occupational accidents has turned the eyes to the causes of these accidents. Thus prevention of accidents has become the main target. Although it is not possible to eliminate the accidents completely, it is possible to get rid of these accidents with the least loss when some precautions are taken. In this respect, job security, it has become one of the lifeblood of the emerging industry in Turkey. The only way to ensure the sustainability of the employees, the survival of the employees and the longevity of the enterprises is to protect the employee. The legislator, who tries to prove that the employees are dealing with different dangers and that they are not alone in these struggles, takes all measures to ensure that the employee continues to work in a safe working environment. The aim of this study is to measure whether the measures taken in this direction are perceived by the employees, and the level of perception and how much they are effective in practice. In the first part of the study; The theoretical knowledge of the concept of occupational safety and personal protective equipment is mentioned and the journey of occupational safety to the present is mentioned. In the second part of the study; Descriptions of the personal protective equipment used, their use, areas of use and the points to be considered in the selection of these equipment are explained in detail. In the last part of the study; A large-scale company was selected in the X company of Zonguldak and the research was conducted and the study was formed with some statistical results. In this way, the frequency of the use of personal protective equipment of the employees of the company and the factors that change these frequencies from person to person were tried to be determined. A questionnaire was applied to the employees. SPSS 22 program was used for data analysis and analysis. The degree of reliability, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were calculated by means of the program. As a result of the analyzes, the answers of the participants were formed as a result of explanatory factor analysis and reliability analysis and all paths were found to be significant with confirmatory factor analysis. In the study, the dependent variable or the factor variable tried to be explained was tried to be validated. After the scales to determine the attitudes of the employees were verified with confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis was performed and the scales were finalized. Of the 6 hypotheses formed in the structural model of the research, 5 hypotheses were supported and only one hypothesis was not significant.
