Özet
Teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte kitle iletişim araçlarının da bu doğrultuda ilerlemesi bilgiye ulaşımı oldukça kolaylaştırmıştır. Bu imkânı sağlayan en kıymetli ürünün ise internet olduğu söylenebilir. İnternet, insanlara hemen hemen her konuda iletişim imkânı sağladığı gibi aynı zamanda bilgi ve belgeye ulaşımın da en çabuk gerçekleştiği platformdur. Bu araştırmada, son erişim tarihi 31.12.2018 olan ve YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi web sayfasında“Tez Adı”başlığında“Müzik”sözcüğünü taşıyan 1952 adet tez incelenmiştir. Çalışma, müzik disiplini ile ilgili yazılmış yüksek lisans, doktora ve sanatta yeterlik tezlerinin yıllara, üniversitelere enstitülere, türlere, konularına ve danışman sayılarına göre nicel verilerini tablolar halinde ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmış bibliyometrik analiz çalışmasıdır. Araştırma, tarama modelinde yapılmış“betimsel”bir araştırma olup durum tespiti niteliği taşımaktadır. Problem cümlesine göre elde edilen veriler sıklık (F) ve yüzde tablosu haline getirilip durum ortaya konulmuştur. Buna göre:“1983-2018”yılları arasında en fazla tezin 2018 (181 tez), en az tezin ise 1983 yılında (1 tez) yazıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada, 88 üniversitede çalışma yapıldığı ve en fazla tezin Gazi Üniversitesinde (348 tez) yazıldığı gözlenmiştir. Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü 940 adet tez ile en çok çalışma yapılan enstitü olurken, 71 farklı konuda tez yazıldığı ve en fazla çalışmanın 821 adet ile müzik konusunda olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca belirlenen 1952 tezin 1555 tanesinin yüksek lisans türünde, 1867 tanesinin ise tek danışmanlı olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu çalışma, konu ile ilgili değerlendirmeyi ortaya koyması ve araştırmacılara yol gösterici olmasının yanında disiplinler arası ilişkiyi ve tez merkezindeki eksiklikleri görme açısından da önemlidir.

Access to information is easier than ever before, thanks to technological developments together with mass communication. One of the most prominent way for communication is internet. It is not only serving different communication ways to people, but also a platform that enables access to information resources and documents. In this study, all of the 1,952 theses in YOK National Thesis Center's website under the category of“Thesis Name”as of 31.12.2018 that includes“Music”as a word have been covered. The study presents all these theses and dissertations in masters and doctorate level in music, as well as proficiencies in arts, disaggregated into years, universities, institutes, types, subjects and number of supervisors to enable quantitative bibliometric analyses. The study is a“descriptive research”through a screening model and has an assessment characteristic. Data derived according to the problem statement are presented in tables with their frequency and percentages. It was found that the most dissertations (181 theses) were written in 2018 and the least dissertations (1 thesis) were written in 1983 between 1983 and 2018. In this research, it was observed that 88 universities were working and the most theses (348 theses) were written in Gazi University. The Institute of Social Sciences has been the institution with the highest number of studies with 940 dissertations. In addition, it has been determined that 71 different topics have been written at the Institute of Social Sciences and the highest number of studies has been on“Music Topic”with 821. Master's degree theses contain 1,555 out of 1,952 theses in total and it was observed that 1,867 of the total theses have only one advisor. The assessments exposed in the study stand as a guideway for researchers highlighting the interdisciplinary relations. Moreover, shortcomings of the Thesis Center have been identified and explained.
