Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı yabancı dil eğitiminde Web 2.0 araçlarından Voki'nin öğrencilerin konuşma becerileri üzerine yapığı etkiye bakmaktır. Bu araştırma vaka çalışması olarak dizayn edilmiştir. Araştırmaya Mersin'deki özel bir okuldaki 5. sınıftan on iki öğrenci katılmıştır. Veri toplamak için, poster sunumları, öğretmen günceleri ve öğrenci röportajı uygulanmıştır. Nicel verilerden Voki ses kayıtları ve poster sunumlarını analiz etmek için hem analitik, hem de bütünsel rubrik kullanılmıştır. Nitel verilerden röportajı analiz etmek için içerik analizi ve betimlemeler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğrencilerin konuşma becerilerinde belirgin bir gelişme ve özgüvenlerinde artış gözlemlenmiştir.

The aim of this study is to see the influence of Web 2.0 tool VOKİ on learners' speaking skills in the foreign language environment. The research was designed as a case study. The participants of the study were twelve 5th grade students at a private school in Mersin. To collect data, poster presentations, Voki voice-recordings, teacher journals, and students interview were conducted. To analyze the quantitative data, both analytic and holistic speaking rubrics were used for poster presentations and Voki voice-recordings. As for the qualitative data, content analysis for the interview and narrations were used. As a conclusion of the study, significant development, and an increase in confidence in students' speaking skills were observed.
